Nat burst out laughing yet again. She couldn't help it as she sat on the couch, where the Avengers were sitting and watching Psych, the TV show. They all looked at her, wondering what made her laugh for at least the eighteenth time in the hour. It wasn't the series that was funny at the point in the show. Tony's eye twitched every time her fake laughter rung through.

Clint sighed and pressed the button on the remote control to switch off the TV. "You've been laughing at nothing for the past hour. That's obviously a desperate cry for attention. What's going on?"

Everyone else stopped to look at the spy. They had lost interest in the show a long time back given she kept laughing for no reason.

She waved her hand dismissively. "It's nothing."

Everyone looked to Wanda, who sighed deeply, wishing the Avengers didn't always resort to her when they wanted to find out secrets. Wanda looked into her mind in one second. "Oh, that's what you're thinking about." Wanda scowled. "It wasn't funny at the time."

"Are you going to speak or can I go back to watching this show?" Thor asked with a bemused look.

Loki, who was sitting beside (Y/n), was already bored. She was clearly paying attention to the conversation. And Loki being Loki hated when she paid attention to anything but him. His lips curled into a devious smirk as a plan formed in his mind.

Slowly, his hand that was resting on his leg circled around her waist. (Y/n) immediately stiffened, but then she turned to him and flashed a brilliant smile that made him smile back. She turned back to the others and his smile just dropped. He didn't like being ignored. He was like a cat. The second attention wasn't on him, he would meow the house down.

Fine, he thought. His fingers carefully reached the hem of her shirt, hidden from the others, and went underneath to find her soft waist. This time, her breath hitched as his cold fingers stroked her waist and hip.
(Y/n) again turned to him with a raised brow, asking what he was doing. He only replied with his signature mad grin. Her cheeks flared as she fought to ignore him, but his touch sent goosebumps down her arms.

"She was just recalling what happened yesterday at the mall." Wanda explained, laughing in her hand.

Immediately, Bucky, (Y/n), Clint, and Pietro let out half-hearted laughs. (Y/n)'s laugh was cut short when Loki shifted so that her back was pressed to his chest. In the mound of pillows and since they were in the most secluded part of the lounge, his ministrations were hidden. Or it could do with the fact that he cloaked his movements from the others.

"What did you guys do? And why wasn't I informed of it?" Tony asked quickly, feigning hurt.

"I only found out because I was up early in the morning, and saw those idiots walk in, trashed and tired." Natasha said with a snort.

"Tell me!"

"To be honest, it wasn't my fault. The twins drag me everywhere!" (Y/n) protested.

"Just tell them already," Bucky mumbled. He was still embarrassed by the events that had transpired.

(Y/n) was acutely aware of Loki's hand trailing up her back slowly. She bit her lip as he grinned.  She managed to force out words. "Well, yesterday evening, we had gone to the mall. It was near closing time."

FLASHBACK

(Y/n), Clint, Pietro, Bucky and Wanda had wanted to go to the mall because there was the best Burger King restaurant.

Everyone except Bucky used the normal glass door to enter. Bucky decided to use the automatic door.

Just as he had expected for it to slide open, he walked. But it didn't slide open and he ended up smashing his face on the glass like a dead fly.
