Today was not a good day for the Avengers. In fact, it absolutely sucked.

It was like Cupid had cursed everyone in the tower, because not a single one of the Avengers could go a day without fighting between their significant half.

Valentine's Day was tomorrow, and it was looking pretty bleak at that point.

The worst of them was (Y/n) and Loki. If one of them wasn't shouting, the other definitely was. It was like a switch that kept flipping ON and OFF, and both of them were sick of it. Yet, they didn't see any chance of stopping because everything got on their nerves.

If it wasn't his absolute silence on some days (literally, not a single word), it was the looks she sent him every time he said something. If she misplaced something in his room, he would blow up, and if he got jealous of the next person that talked to her, she would snap at him.
She would have a habit of blabbering about her relationship—some parts proud, some parts pissed, he would go off on her about not sharing private details. She reasoned that it's not like she shared their bedroom life or anything, and then he would scoff and roll his eyes and walk out.

She'd then get angry because he'd never complete an argument and trail him around the whole day.

"Are you joking? Why on earth would you care whether I hang out with Bucky?" (Y/n) asked incredulously.

Loki growled. "I don't like you going out with him all the time! You're my girlfriend. You do what I say!"

She fumed, and pointed a sharp finger at his chest. "I have no idea how you handle women on Asgard, but on my planet, we treat each other like equals and not like property!"

He rolled his eyes. "Then hang out with him! If you want to spend more time with your ex-boyfriend than your actual boyfriend, who am I to say anything, right?"

"You do not get to pull that card on me!"

"The joke's on you, because I don't play cards! I hate solitaire!"

"Ugh, you're impossible!" She stomped away, Loki on her heels.

"I'm impossible? Me, of all people? I'm great. I'm a god, you have to respect me!"

She stopped and poked his chest, receiving his wide, green eyes with a scowl. "And I'm a dragon who can rip your ugly face off!"

"Oh, don't be so immature."

Her eyes narrowed and she stalked off, but not before saying, "then watch me immaturely walk out and hang out with my friend."

Loki paused. "Which friend?"

Her fists clenched and she grit out, "Bucky."

"Listen, I'm sorry, okay?" Loki said softly. It was too sudden, the apology, and her back stiffened when she felt his hands rub her upper arms gently. "I-I just feel like you enjoy spending more time with him than me and I don't like feeling that way."

(Y/n) turned to him, her gaze less harsh. Cupping his  cheek, she pressed a soft kiss on his lips that left him floating. "You don't have to feel that way, Loki. Bucky would never replace you-"

"Replace me?" Loki interrupted. "Who said anything about replacing? I just want you to spend more time with me."

She was taken aback. "Loki, I'm just hanging out with him. You can't pull me away from my friends." She didn't give him time to respond, her blood boiling because she had tried to reconcile with him, but he took everything too seriously, and now, she didn't like that she had to stop seeing Bucky so much, so she left him standing there, staring at her retreating figure with an unpleasant look on his face.
