After finals

"Chan Mi! See me now," Mrs Lim said and walked out. I excused myself from Mr Yang's class and met her.

"Ne?" I asked.

"Do you mind performing during your graduation night? We have an extra slot during the performances," she said and smiled.

Me? What? No way.

"Eyy, why me? I'm not talented. I strongly assure you that I will make a fool out of myself," I said.

"Eish. You haven't try! You're part of the choir club; I'm sure you can do well. I know you can," she said.

"Ani-" I said when she cut me off.

"Your slot is the last slot so you have a lot of time to prepare. Ok? Ok. Choose a song and let me know by tomorrow. Ne? You can go now," she said and walked away.

"But Mrs Lim!" I shouted. "Ah, jinjja.." I said to myself and sighed. When I opened my eyes, there stood Jimin waiting for Hana by her locker.

It's been since we've even talk to each other. Well, I caught him staring at me at times but I'll take it as he was looking somewhere else but in my direction. He apologized to me the day after he got drunk and we didn't talk ever since. He sort of looked sad but I guess happy without me. Who knows.

I walked home and thought about the song that I should perform.

A sad song?

A happy song?

Maybe I should sing about... Jimin? No way. He's over me and I'll look pathetic if I show I'm not over him. Maybe I should sing Happy by 2ne1? I can sort of relate to the song except the rapping part I guess. Oh well.

Graduation Night

I was so nervous to perform. I decided to wear a black fitted dress and my adidas superstar sneakers. I have to say that I looked quite good.

"Alright, to end of the performances tonight, we have Lee Chan Mi who will be performing a song called Happy! Please welcome her!" Mr Tan announced and everybody applauded. As soon as I stepped onto the stage, I could see Jimin and Hana right in front of me.

Why must they be there? Smh.

I bowed and smiled. Soon, the music started playing and I started singing.

"Kamsamida!," I said and smiled happily. It was fun performing up on stage. I was sort of releasing my feelings that I've kept to myself. No one would know so~

It was time for dancing and I didn't really come with any date so I decided to just sit outside and enjoy the night breeze.

I sat on a bench in the school garden and just looked up into the sky. For some reason, I was just smiling. I just felt happy.
