Chapter 6 :: my husbando Kaoru

I woke up to the sound of birds. I groaned slightly as my head felt like it had just been hit by a hammer.
"(Y/N)? I'm so glad your awake!" A voice said. I looked towards the voice and saw Willow there. She immediately hugged me and I smiled.

I then look down and see Gray. He was sleeping peacefully his head rested on my legs. I looked at him and blushed. Holy fudge muffins he looks adorable when he sleeps. He clenches his hands into fists and starts shaking with fury.

(Y/N) was lying on the ground really badly injured by this jerk. She looked at me with a a sad smile as a tear fell down her face before she was kicked again and smashed her head on the wall.
"(Y/N)!" I yelled. She was out cold.
"What's wrong pretty boy?" Bryan asked with a smirk
"She... Was ... Pregnant..." I muttered extremely angry at him. Natsu and everyone had all been defeated by this person and left it was only (Y/N) who didn't want to fight, however she did it for her baby's sake. Our baby's sake.
"Yeah... It's a shame... Shes gonna give birth to a baby from an ice Princess." Bryan grinned.
"Yeah well rather give birth to a baby from a cold-hearted monster! Ice make: sword!"
"Darknight fury!"

My eyes opened slightly as I felt someone playing with my hair. I groan sleepily and the persons touch on my hair stops.
"Morning Gray." A familiar voice said.
"M-morning." I muttered still trying to comprehend the dream I just had. Not the fight... But the fact (Y/N) was carrying my baby...
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"Nothing." I said going bright red. I was now sitting on the chair next to (Y/N)'s bed.
'Yeah... Totally. " she muttered. She met me with a playful smile.
"You where clenching your fists in your sleep, I can either think of two reasons why that was. 1. You where fighting your frenemy Natsu or 2. You where saving your crush from the depths of evil." She smiles at me. I laugh at her the way she explained it.
"Two." I smile.

Immediately her faced brightened.
"Ooooh! Your in looooveeee!" She grinned. I rolled my eyes. "So who is this very lucky lady?" I asked.
"None of your business Comet girl."
"Aw! Course it is Ice head! Is it Mira?"
"Shes Laxus' mate."
"Levy?" She smiled.
"She belongs to Gajeel."
"Fine then! Oooh I know Lucy!"
"That's Natsu's girl. If I where to be with her he would totally destroy me."

She nodded.
"Yeah... Mates are very possessive..." She muttered.
"What about you?" I ask.
"Me?" She says a little confused.
"Yeah, when do you find your mate?"

She went bright red and started fidgeting with her fingers.
"Mating season is soon... Four weeks to be exact... I will find my mate then." She said looking down at the floor.
"Who do you think its going to be?" I smirked.
"I... Don't have a clue. " she said with a sigh "usually two Dragon slayer mate together. Males can get away with mating humans because of the marking system... But for females its awkward..." She looked down "I'm guessing you know a bit about marking?" She asked. I shook my head.

I look at him and get ready to explain the long process.
"Usually when mates are found they mark each other. This can be done at anytime they feel is best. Usually Marking is seen done once the mates have you know..." I looked down "mated." I murmured. "The female marks the male and the male marks the female. It's really the male mark that truly counts... Because y'know men are..." I laughed "well men are men. Especially Dragon slayers." I paused "when a human and Dragon slayer are mates, this being a female human and male Dragon slayer the male marks the human and she doesn't have to mark back."
"So what happens to male human and female Dragon slayer?" Gray asked.
"The female marks the human and the human has to mark the female, which is awkward..." I say.
"Why?" He asked.
"It's awkward trying to pierce the skin if you don't have the right teeth." I said. He laughed.

I sat down and yawn sleepily. "How long was I asleep for?" He asked.
"Three days. Wendy tried to heal you but her power was weak as she had a cold."

He nodded. Two hours later he was dismissed from the infirmary but told not to take any jobs or strain myself for at least a week.

I was walking around town with Willow, Gray was having a fight over whose the best and Pantherlily was on a job with Gajeel's team.

"Soooo... Do you have a thing for Gray?" Willow asked me.
"Wh-what?! No!" I yelled. Willow rolled her eyes.
"Your such a bad liar! Your bright red."
"Sh-shut up!" I said looking down. She grinned.
"(Y/N) and Gray sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"
"SHUT UP YOU STUPID CAT!" I said feeling my cheeks go bright red.

She laughed. "Aww! My Dragon slayers in looooveeee!
I swear in a minute I am going to punch this stupid cat!

" so... Mating season is soon for you!" She said. I nodded slightly. "Do you think Gray will be your mate?" Willow smirked
"I-I....I hope so..." I stuttered truthfully. "I doubt I will meet any Dragon slayers that will be my mates, so il most likely have a normal mate." I say.
"I heard there are twin Dragon slayers around here! Maybe you will be their mates, I heard they haven't got mates." She smiled. I sighed.
"Yeah... Maybe... That reminds me I need to speak to Gramps about it. I'm not safe in mating season, I should be locked up for a while, just until the end because any unmated Dragon slayer.... Well.... And then il be possessive and violent to everyone who looks at my mate."
"Hai!" Willow said. She then ran to a shop window "(Y/N)!! LOOK THEY HAVE ANIME MERCH IN HERE! OH MY GOSH THATS RIRICHIYO! AND THEN THERES MAKOTO! LOOK THERES THE BARREN! OH MY GOSH LOOK ITS KOTORI! GAAAAAAAAAHHHH! I CANT BELIEVE THEY HAVE MY HUSBANDO KAORU THERE!" she yelled
"Your such a weeabo..." I muttered. Willow glared at me.
"I'm an otaku... There is a difference..." She said.
"Whatever weeb." I said as I entered the shop to buy her the Kaoru figurine.

---- ten minutes later and back at the guild hall ----

Willow was shoving her Kaoru figurine in everyone's faces and Pantherlily looked a bit jealous of Kaoru.

You walked over to Mirajane.
"Hey Mira! Do you know where the master is?" I asked.
"I think he's in his office, he hasn't got a meeting or anything so you should be able to go in." She replied. "Thanks Mira!" I say with a smile.

I knock on the door to the masters office.
