Chapter 65: Wait...Lily...you're a dad?

Willow POV

"Where are you two going?!" I hear Gajeel say.
"I need to show Lily something!" I say a little desperately.
"Why Lily?"
"Because it concerns him." I say still rushing forward.

I'm so so sorry (Y/N)... but this is important... I don't mean to not help you... I'm so sorry...

"Where are we going?" Lily asks. I ignore his question and fly up to a tree. "Willow what's going on?" He asks.

I sigh slightly and get what I want out of the tree. I struggle carrying it. But when Gajeel and Lily catch a glimpse of what it is their faces drop.

"Is that..." Lily Trails off
"An egg?" Gajeel says quietly.

Your POV

"So what's it gonna be Gray?" I hear a female voice say that I didn't recognise
"Why should I believe you? After everything you've done to (Y/N) and I." Another unfimiliar voice says. Except this one was deeper, a male voice. Even though I can't recognise who it is it seems calmer, even in his angry tone.

But I don't get it... whose (Y/N)... and whose Gray?

I try to open my eyes but I can't, nor can I move nor can I speak.

It's like... I'm trapped.

"Do you really want to risk it?" Another female voice says. It sounds younger, yet shows similarities to the first female voice.

After a long pause of silence the male speaks up.
"No." He says quietly "take her. But I swear if your stupid celestial world harms her in any way, I will find a way to get her back here." He says a voice filled of sudden determination.

I feel my face flush for some reason, yet I don't know why, but I respect him. He obviously cares about this (Y/N) person...I kinda wish someone would act like that with me...

"Good decision." Is all the first voice says.

Willow POV

"Lily... I'm going to go in a second. I can feel it. But I need you to know that this egg... this egg is our child, so I need you to promise me that you'll look after it and make sure it grows properly. You'll love it and care for it..." I say tears in my eyes. I don't want to leave my egg here. I want to take it with me. But I can't, therefore I have to make sure Lily will look after it.
"Wait... Lily... you're a dad?" Gajeel asks.

Lily's eyes widen enormously as he takes in everything.
"Yeah... it seems I am." He mutters.

I plant a kiss on Lily's cheek and look down at the egg.

I'll come back... I promise.

Before I can do anything else I feel light headed. It looks like I'm going now...

The world starts spinning very slowly.
"Willow!" I hear Lily say.
"This is it," I smile with tears running down my face "Bye. And tell Gray I say thank you... and if it so happens (Y/N) hasn't had the chance to, tell him that we're great full for every single thing he's done for her and for me." I say.

The light headed - Ness takes over and the world around me starts spinning way faster.

Then everything goes black.

I suddenly jerk upright and open my eyes.

Where am I...?
