Chapter 78: The Darkest of Black's and Brightest of Golds

Bryan POV

I stare at Willow in shock. So (Y/N)''s cat wants to talk, huh?

I force a smile on my face and look at her. "Willow, it's nice to see you agai-"
"Don't give me  that crap!" She says angrily "now what where you talking to (Y/N) about?!"
"Willow that's between (Y/-"
"I don't care." She says.

I look at the cat and smile softly.
"You've grown up..." I say. Her eyes widen "You're a mother now..."
"Oh so the idiot is observant?" She says in a snarky tone "Now tell me why the hell you wanted to 'talk' to (Y/N). Both you and I know that the Darknight guild don't talk nor do they apologise!"
"Don't they deserve second chances."
"Second chances only apply in certain circumstances."
"Well then, I see you've still got a Darknight guild heart then."
"What crap are you spouting now?!" She says. 

I smirk slightly and give her a goofy grin.
"Nothing that you need to worry about... just yet..." I mutter.

And with that I teleport away.

Willow POV

I sigh in relief as he teleports away. That took a lot of courage. (Y/N) better be proud of me...

But I still didn't get my answers. And Bryan was acting stranger than usual...

And when you're Bryan, that's hard...

I sigh and go back to the guild where Lily tackled me to the ground.
"You're alive! Did that idiot touch you? Did he hurt you?! Don't ever do that to me again! I've already lost you on-"
"Calm down." Gajeel says "You're girlfriend is here and she's safe Lily, okay?" Gajeel says 
"But she might not have been!" He says and hugs me tightly.

Ivy also hugs me tightly and I smile at both of them.

Your POV

"(Y/N)! I'm so glad that you're okay!" Juvia says happily.
"Heh. Thanks!" I say with a smile.
"You know Juvia's always telling me how much she really likes you (Y/N)." Lyon says. I find my smirking.
"Really? That's kind of a contradiction compared to how she first saw me." I laugh.

Juvia goes a bright red and nods.
"Y-yes that's true. I'm ever so sorry (Y/N). I was so in love with Gray and I saw you as a rival!" She says.
"It's okay, besides, you got this polar bear right here." I laugh pointing at Lyon.
"Polar...bear...?" She asks.

I nod my head and laugh.
"Yep,  Gray has Raven hair like a penguin, and Lyon has white like a polar bear. It's kind of ironic considering that they're both ice mages." I smile.
"Oh thank goodness! I thought you were giving my dearest beloved Lyon a per name!" She says sighing in relief.
"Even if she was, It wouldn't matter because I'm so in love with you Juvie!" Lyon smiles at Juvia. Juvia blushes a bright red and giggles.
"I-I love you too my beloved Little Lyon!" She says and kisses his lips.

Right... well I'm third wheeling here. I'm just gonna back the hell up.

I start walking when I see Gray looking at me. He was standing with Wendy, Lucy, Erza, Natsu, Happy, and Carla.

I sigh slightly looking over at him.

What's wrong now stripper?

I mentally ask in my head. He sighs and walks over to me.
"You do know I can hear you, right." He chuckles.
"Yes, and I'm hoping for you to be able to answer me." I say.
"The team are going on a job tomorrow." He says looking back at the rest of them.
"Okay?" I ask "So you have a long face because...?"
"It's a dangerous job ... it only just skipped being S-class."
"But those are the best, right?"
"Yeah... but we want you to come." He says quietly.
