Your POV
"Wait? What do you mean?" I ask.
"Exactly that, she'll offer you something that you've always wanted."
"For what?" Gray asks.
"For two things."
"That's a bit greedy." I mutter quietly.
"Maybe so, but the thing she'll offer you is important, and something that your heart has disired for a long time."
"And what's that?" I ask.
"I wish I could tell you Miss (Y/N). But if you turn down that wish, she'll offer you one more." He says "if you choose to accept any, she'll keep her bet." He says "but I beg you, please Miss (Y/N), do whatever it takes to avoid the temptation of the offer." He says "remeber where you are now, not your past, nor the future because it's only the present that matters." He says staring at me seriously.
There was silence but I slowly nodded my head slightly.
"I don't think there's anything I want, so she can try her best." I laugh slightly. Although, Aquila looked confused.
"So what does this spirit look like?" I ask.
"She's... a child I guess..." he says.
"Wait what?!" Gray and I say.
"She's the youngest celestial spirit in the spirit world."
"Wait, I swear they're are ones younger!" I say.
"Nope. Including all the celestial keys, she's the youngest, most people don't include dark keys though."
"How old is she?" I ask
"Well, in human years she's quite old, however, celestial spirit years she's roughly about fifteen years old." He says. "Her attitude is much like it too."He sighs, "she's quite a moody celestial spirit going through the... 'rebellious faze." He says. I laugh at his expression and he smiles. "Anyway, the best way to-"
Aquila got interrupted by the door being kicked in and falling close to us. There stood an angry Erza with a smirk on her face.
"Ah, Aquila, I see you're helping the princess ." She says.
"Wait Erza?" I ask.
"Sorry Princess, Erza's not home, it's just lil' old me here." She laughs.
"So you're the celestial spirit?" I ask
"Ding! ding! ding! We have a winner!" She laughed "seems the princess isn't as dumb as I thought she would be." She said in a snarky tone.
"Do I get the honour of knowing your name?" I ask
" Vulpecula the fox." She says.
"That makes sense." I mutter "after all foxes are seen to be decieving, little sly creatures." I say.
"Oh wow your words hurt me Princess (Y/N)."She says sarcastically. "None of this will matter though." She says "after I beat you, you won't even remember my name." She laughed.
I saw Gray get ready to start yelling at the celestial spirit but I held him back. I took hold of his arm when he stepped forward and shook my head when he looked at me to question my actions.
If anyone is going to fight her it's going to be me.
"What do you mean by that?" I ask raising an eyebrow.
"Exactly that." She says unsheathing her sword.
I don't want to get a celestial spirit out incase they're friends with her. It's not fair to make her friends fight.
"Miss (Y/N), may I fight her?" Aquila said. I stare at Aquila as I see slight determination in his eyes but I fight the confusion that is filling my mind.
"Erm... sure?" I say. It sounded like a question my confusion obviously fighting through.
"So you're fighting me?" She smirks. "Great!" She laughs hysterically.
" Don't underestimate my power Vulpec, I'm stronger then before." He says with a smirk on his face.
"Before?" Gray repeats slightly confused.
Aquila laughed nervously and looked at us with a embarrassed face.
"Ah yes, well, you see, Velpecula and I have battled before when we where younger."
"What? Why?" Gray questions.
"Well, she stole my loaf of bread..." he says. "And then we got in a fight."
"And I totally beat him."
"I was weak back then." He chuckled in a nervous tone.
"Good excuse." Vulpecula says with a small laugh, either way, let's make a bet." She says "if I win, you let me defeat- I mean fight the princess, if you win, I'll leave little ol' Erza Scarlet the way I found her." She smiled.
"And what's the other one?" He asks
"Whatever are you talking about?" She asks innocently.
"I know how you work Vulpec, after all, I've been stuck with you for the past, ten years." Aquila grumbles annoyed.
"Wait? What do you mean?" I ask.
"Dearest Aquila and I use to go to the same school, and then I got a job at the palace for a couple of months." She said with a smile. "As a prison guard of course, but my room was right next to Aquila ' s. " She laughs.
