Chapter 21 : Controlling female dog who deserves a slap

Your POV

"What?! Why?!" Aquila asks.
"It doesn't matter why. But I'm going through with the wedding, and I'm not going to change my mind." I say as I hang up on the phone.

As soon as I finished on the phone the door slammed opened, In came Aquila.
"What the heck? Why aren't you going to fight back?" He asks.
"How did you get here so fast?" I ask.
"Don't ignore me!" He says.

I sigh slightly.
"No offence but I wouldn't be if it weren't for you..." I pause "so just let me go, and leave me be." I say.

Aquila looked at me and sighed.
"Fine. Whatever. But I hope you know your father is not going to be proud and your mother would not be proud." He says as if to insult me.
"Well good thing they're not here." I say. I pause for a moment then look at him straight in the eyes. "Was there any other reason for you being here?" I ask.
"Yes. Bryan wants you to come down stairs." He says.

I nod slightly and take a deep breath in. This is my choice. I've got to follow it through.

I follow Aquila down the stairs where Bryan, Destruction and Vortex where all sat by the bar.

The set up of the guild hall was much like Fairy Tail ' s. They had a bar, and a request board right by it.

The Darknight guild hall was much much bigger though. They're were three separate floors, on the first was of course the diner and bar, the second was the S class floor request board and library, and the third are accommodation and all the offices for Bryan and Destruction.

There was literally no one there apart from those three and Aquila and I.
"Before we start whatever conversation you want , I need to say something first." Is all I say.
"Go ahead." Bryan says with a smirk.
"I agree to the marriage. I mean, I know I have no choice but to agree, but I won't fight back." I say. They all gape at me apart from Aquila who looks really annoyed at me.

"What's with the change of heart?" Vortex asks.
"None of your business." I mutter "All you need to know is that I have." I say.

I look over at Vortex.
"However, I'm only doing this with your consent." I mutter "Are you really happy with me marrying your boyfriend?" I ask.
"Why the hell are you asking me?" She asks a little surprised.
"Because although you're a controlling female dog who deserves a slap," I pause "You're also human. And nobody would want to go through with all that." I say with a small soft smile.

There's a sigh coming from her and she looks at Bryan.
"Sure, whatever. Go ahead." She says, although there's a hint of sadness in her voice. She's being brave for him. Doesn't he even care?

Bryan smiled and kissed Vortex on the cheek happily.
"Thanks." He said. I looked away feeling kind of guilty and looked to Aquila. Although, I looked away within two seconds as I felt him glaring at me even more.

"So when's the wedding?" I asked.
"A week from today." Destruction says proudly.
"Can I choose my maid of honour. I mean it's someone in this guild don't worry. But can I? " I ask. Everyone stares at me uneasily.
"I don't see why not." Bryan says.
"And whose giving me away?" I ask.
"We... er... haven't thought about that." Destruction says.

I sigh slightly and roll my eyes.
"Listen, I don't want to get married, but if we're going to get married at least let it be a proper wedding." I say.
"Fine, Venture can give you away." Destruction smirked. He thought it would upset me but it really didn't.
"Okay! Thats great!" I look over at Vortex who was looking away kind of sadly. "And you're the person I would like to be my maid of honour." I say "The twins can be the bridesmaids."
"W-Wait a sec! Why would you want me as your maid of honour?"
"Well, you seem to be part of this whole thing so why not?" I ask.
"Fine. Whatever." She snaps.

I know it may seem like I'm trying to rub the wedding in her face but I'm not. In all honesty I'm trying to make her realise that Bryan isn't worth her time.

I don't like Vortex, I never have. But in all honesty a guy like Bryan doesn't deserve anyone, not even Vortex. And If Vortex could see that then maybe she would be able to fall in love with someone nicer who could change her for the better.

But I guess that's just a hope. There's no guarantee.
"Wait. Did you say you want the twins to be your bridesmaids?" Bryan asks.
"Yep." I say
"...but you do know they're boys right?" He asks.
"Yep." I smile.
"It's fine. Let's just go with it." Darknight mumbled.
"It's guessing Redwing is going to be you're best man?" Venture asks.
"Yes. I think so." Bryan says
"And Ticker can be the ring bearer." Destruction says.
"Great. So that is the wedding sorted." Venture smiles.

I nod slightly. Somehow planning this wedding doesn't feel right.

I shouldn't be with Bryan I should be with Gray. But then again he "doesn't care" as he says so.

Part of me thinks he's lying. But why the hell would he lie? I mean it sounded convincing.

Fine. If he doesn't care about me I won't care about him. See if I care that I'm gone. See if I care that I won't ever see him again. See if I care that he doesn't care that I'm gone. Stupid idiot. Stuff you Gray!

Gray POV

I felt a pang in my chest and a voice got stuck in my head. I noticed it immidiatley it was (Y/N)'s voice.

And this wasn't me hearing things. This was her actual voice. She was actually talking to me.

"(Y/N)!" I yell. But there's no reply. Nothing. But I know I need to tell the guild. I know I'm not going insane.

From my apartment I run to the guild quickly. By the time I get there everyone is about to leave. It's late at night and everyone is exhausted.
"Guys!" I yell.
"Quiet down you idiot!" Natsu snaps.
"(Y/N) still remembers us!" I yell.

Silence filled the guild and then an immidiatley eruption of cheer fills the room.

That's until someone taps my shoulder. I turn around to see Erza who looks at me.
"Master let me out because (Y/N) isn't here." She says. "So either she comes back or I stay." She says with a smirk.
