Chapter 81: Natsu calm down! [UNEDITED]

Your POV

We caught up with the gang and Erza looks at everyone.
"Okay, before we rush in we need to think of a logical plan-"
" I say we go into the forest and beat some tree's up!"
"Natsu! You can't just 'beat some tree's up'!" Lucy yells in an annoyed tone.
"Sure I can. Set one on fire they all burn. It's great! Wanna see?"
"I swear if you touch one of those tree's with your clumsy fire hands pyro, you'll set the whole island alight." Gray says glaring at him.
"That's kind of the whole point. Geez, you sure are thick ice brains!"
"Want to fight pyro?!"
"Only if you do Magic Gray." He smirks.

"CAN BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP!" Erza yells.
"We've got to think of a logical way to fight these tree's." I mutter. 
"We don't want to completely destroy the whole forest either." Wendy says quietly.
"Aye sir!" Happy said.

Carla, Happy and Willow all looked at each other.
"Hey! I have an idea!" Willow says "We can help you guys. We all have aero magic which will help a lot." She smiles.
"How so?" Erza  asks.
" Well, if you guys walk in the forest, we can see what is causing the tree's to move or if they're moving on their own. But we gotta plan on meeting somewhere so we can discuss that."
"How about the temple?" Gray asks.

Erza, Natsu and Lucy nod their heads along with Happy. Carla, Willow, Wendy and I just kind of went with it.

We began walking in the forest,  and very soon, the tree's blocked out any sunlight there was.

Darkness surrounded us, and a familiar feel came to me. I stared around nervously, staying close to whoever was beside me.

"Hey Punk, stop stealing my girlfriend! " I hear a voice say as I get dragged towards someone.  That voice is Gray  and I can just about make out the spikey hair.
"I wasn't trying too! It's not my fault your girlfriend is more attracted to me then she is to you!" Another voice says coming for where I just was.

Natsu. His eyes are somewhat glowing in the dark.
"Focus!  Both of you!" A voice says coming from ahead of us. Erza, her armour is reflecting some of the light.
"Era's right you guys... we don't have time for arguing." A nervous voice says from behind us.  I turned around to see Wendy's bobble 's reflecting the light.

Everyone's here. Everyone is okay. There's nothing to be scared o-

A high pitch scream rings in my ears. "Lucy!" Natsu and I yell in shock.
"Where is she?!" Natsu asked worriedly.
"I-I don't know!" Wendy mutters.
"Everyone stay calm! We'll get to her."  Erza says.

But it was too late.  Desperate to get to his girlfriend,  Natsu hands were now engulfed in flames, and he began singing a tree one by one. His green eyes had turned red and he was in a state of rage.
"Natsu calm down!" I yell staring at him.
"Dude! Stop! We'll get to her! But just wait you're gonna burn down the whole fore-"

The screams got louder and was almost unbearbearable. It wasn't screams of fear it was screams of pain.

"WE DON'T HAVE TIME!" Natsu yelled back at Erza as he continued burning down the tree's.
"NATSU!" Lucy screams.

Suddenly there was silence. We all stood there as Natsu's eyes widened.
"L-luce?!" Natsu called.

There was no answer.
"L-LUCY!" Natsu yelled as he burnt down another tree. There were two things there.

A hole in the ground, and her ring of celestial keys.

"Lu...cy..." Natsu says as he falls to his knees.

We're all surrounding Natsu. His eyes are streaming with tears.
"I-I don't get it..." Wendy said "W-where'd she go?" She asks tears in her eyes.
"The ground swallowed her whole..." I muttered slightly terrified.

I looked down at Natsu who was by the hole, his eyes red and puffy. I kneel down next to him and pull him into a hug.
"It's okay... she's probably okay..." I mutter.
"But what if she's not?!" He yells "My girlfriend... my mate! The love of my life!" He says. 
"Exactly. She's your mate. If she's dead you would have felt it... she's fine..." Gray mutters looking down at him, he also knelt down next to him. "(Y/N) is right Natsu, we'll find her." He mutters.
"I just don't want any bastards touching her." He says quietly.

I shake my head.
"They won't. And if they do they'll have The rest of us to answer to. Okay?" I say looking at Natsu and give him a hug.

He rulenctantly nods his head.

I hate seeing him like this. Lucy gets on my nerves as much as she's my friend, but I care about Natsu.

I care about Natsu a lot. He is basically the brother that I never had. And seeing him there... without his goofy grin. That hurts... like hell.

I see Gray get protective over how close I was to Natsu but shake it off.

"Now, let's carry on through the forest, we can get further and further through and find out what's going on." I mutter "Maybe then we'll find Lucy."

There was silence but a nod found their way to everyone's heads.

"Yes... but let's stay close..." erza mutters.
"(Y/N). Get on my back." Gray says
"What? why?!" I ask.
"I don't want you getting hurt." He sighs.
"What?!"
"Just get on my back and I'll protect you."
"What If  you get attacked?" I ask. 

He stayed silent and paused for a moment.
"Never mind." He mutters.

I take his hand and give it a soft squeeze to show I appreciate his help.

I look over at the pyro. His expressions had become dull, and he was still crying slightly. Wendy was huddled closer to us, however Erza was nowhere to be seen.
"Erza?" I called.

There was no reply.

Lucy PPV

I felt dizzy, dizzy and weak. Those tree's silenced me as we were walking through the forest and tool me underground. I was screaming for help. 

That's until the grip of the tree tightened.  I screamed in pain, not knowing where I was or what easy going on. I heard Natsu yell my name, but it was too late.

It was like a rollercoaster,  but it was only going down. I was somehow getting dragged underground.

This has got to be a dream!

Once it finally stops I open my eyes.

I stare at where I am, I'm underground... that I can tell...

But... still, there's walls that reflect the fire lamps that surround everything.

I hear footsteps and when I do I see somebody who I never thought I'd see.

I'm so sorry guys! I know I said I would try and update this quickly and I did. I really did.

But then I had writer's block. And then I got a LOT of homework. Literally I have like loads.

Okay so my Aunts wedding is tomorrow, so I'm not sure whether I can update this weekend because tonight we're travelling to the place, then tomorrow it's the wedding and Sunday we're travelling back, and I can't update on the way there because I get motion sickness (im basically Natsu just not as bad XD) and being on my phone makes it worse, so I'll try my hardest, but I'm not sure.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience and I hope you enjoyed this chapter!
