Chapter 22: The King's Creation

Gray POV

"You're making us choose?!" Natsu and I yell.
"Indeed. It seems that way." She says walking over to the bar and eating a piece of strawberry cake I'm guessing she had previously bought.
"But why?!" Natsu says "What's your problem with (Y/N)?"
"Well, things have all gone wrong since she's been here, haven't you noticed?" She asks.
"What do you mean?" Gajeel asks confused.
"Well, all this business with the Darknight guild and all this business with her dark magic." She says.

Everyone stands still and looks at Erza.
"What do you mean dark magic?!" Lisanna asks.
"Well all her dark keys are dark magic." Erza says.
"How did you know that?!" I yell.
"I have my ways." She smiles "besides I don't know why you're so worried about her. An hour or two ago you were saying how you didn't have a girlfriend." Erza says "you can't just pick and choose Y'know."
"I thought she forgot about me!" I yell in my defense.
"Well then are you really in love with her, because if so then why kiss me?" Erza says in a sickly tone

This isn't Erza. I knew it. It couldn't be. Erza doesn't take pleasure in seeing people leaving or anything else. Nor would she share a secret like that unless it was necessary we know as it could affect us, but she would talk to the person first.

"You did what?!" Natsu yelled at me.
"Butt out of it you pyro!" I yell
"That's the second freaking time!"
"I said butt out!"
"How about no! (Y/N) doesn't deserve a loser like you!"
"Natsu shut up you don't know anything!" I say seriously snapping at him.
"No! Seriously, haven't you learnt from the last time. Erza is right if you really loved (Y/N) you wouldn't have cheated on her!"
"I thought she forgot about me! I thought she left me! I thought she wouldn't remember me! I did it to forget about her! To get away from it! Like she did with me! So yes maybe I did cheat on her again. And yes maybe there is no excuse but don't have a go at me Pyro! Because your mate isn't the one getting married to some dark guild person!" I say yelling louder.

The whole guild was quiet and they where just all staring at Natsu and I.
A bit loud Gray...

The door to the infirmary opened and in came Willow.
"I heard T-that (Y/N) hasn't forgot about u-us." Willow  says quietly.
"Willow you shouldn't be out of the infirmary!" Lily yells and runs over to her.
"Aye sir! It's not good for you!"
"I-I want to help get (Y/N) back!" Willow says.
"Willow you can't do that. Not in this state." Carla says.
"I-I can try! Even if I fail I can try!" She says weakly.
"Willow it's dangerous." I sigh.
"I don't care! (Y/N) helped me out when I was hopeless. She took me in when I had nowhere! She was and is my best friend and partner and I won't let her get married to Bryan! I can't let her! She's the only one who cared about me when no one else did! I'm helping get her back!" She looks over at Erza "I know you're not yourself Erza! But either way making us choose between you and (Y/N) Is wrong!" She says "(Y/N)'s a good person! The reason she uses dark magic is to meet her dad! And she tries to help the celestial spirits! She changes them for the better! She loves her spirits just like any celestial wizard does! Just because she uses dark magic doesn't mean that she's a bad person!" Willow says standing up for (Y/N).

Erza looks at Willow and is silent for a minute then shakes her head and smiles.
"Well, I admire your courage. And you're strength. I see you're not as weak as everyone see ' s.  However, this is a light guild, a magic guild which doesn't use dark magic. If (Y/N) really wanted to be in this guild she wouldn't have chose to use dark magic."
"It wasn't a choice!" Willow snapped.

Everyone looked at Willow slightly confused.
"Because she's half celestial spirit, she has to use dark magic to survive here!"
"What do you mean?" Carla asks.

Willow looks away sadly.
"I'm guessing you've all figured out that because (Y/N) Is the celestial Princess her father has to be the celestial king." Willow mutters. The whole guild nods slightly. "And I'm guessing you know that it takes magical energy for a celestial being to survive in the human world for a long time."She pauses "Well even though (Y/N) Is half human, half celestial spirit, she can't survive in either of these world's without the dark keys that she has."
"But I thought (Y/N) only had dark keys recently." Cana says
"No." Willow says shaking her head "quite the opposite. One of the King's servants, Aquila, a celestial spirit gave (Y/N) a dark key called Tarutala. Her memories have always been altered saying she got the key when she was three. Up until that point she's never took enough notice. But the keys aren't really dark keys. They're called dark keys to put other celestial mages of using them." Willow sighed "All dark keys are the King's Creation, therefore they can't be dark as he is obviously a light key and a friend to the human celestial world."

Yet again silence fills the hall. So the dark keys aren't dark keys and are just companions and helpers for (Y/N) to survive in Earthland. Basically her guardians.

"So why do they possess her and fight her?" Cana asks
"In order to make sure she's strong enough to survive in Earthland, and of course strong enough for the throne." I say.
"How do you know all this?!" I ask confused.

Willow looks away and down to her purple feet.
"Because I'm also one of the King's creations, and I'm also a celestial spirit." She mutters.

Sorry it's only a Gray POV  but yes. This is your background on you and Willow! It's kind of important even if it is a bit slow! Next chapter will hopefully be a bit more better! I appologise! I know this isn't the best chapter XD
