Chapter 52: What if you forget about me?

Your POV

Gray ran off with me in his arms. I felt my face heat up slightly. It's weird. I never thought I'd ever get married to someone like Gray, someone who was so calm, someone who was nice.

Then again I wasn't even sure if I would ever fall in love. Not in love, love at least.

I don't know. When I was little I always thought I'd fall in love with some prince, some guy who'd wisk me away from my problems, we'd run away somewhere to a castle or something like that.

But I'm glad I don't have that. I'm glad I have Gray instead. Even if that does sound cheesy it's the truth.

"We'll stay down here..." he mutters. I nod slightly as he puts me on the sofa.
"Why? Is it because I'm too heavy?" I ask with a playful smirk.
"What? No? It's just easier and -"
"Easier?" I say raising an eyebrow playfully "so you are saying I'm heavy." I say.
"Wha-" I burst out laughing when I realise that he doesn't know I'm joking.
"You moron." I say.

He takes a moment to realise and he rolls his eyes too then kisses my cheek.
"You idiot I thought you were angry..."

He sits next to me and pulls me into his arms with a soft smile and kisses my head.
"I love you (Y/N)." He mutters in a calm voice.
"Really? I thought you loved Natsu." I said with a small wink.
"What?! Hell no! I'd choose you over that Pyro-flameball any day. " he smiles and kisses my lips softly.

I blush slightly and my face heats up every time he kisses me. You think if I'm getting married to him then I'd stop blushing whenever he kissed me. Wrong.

"We need to sort out wedding details." He smiled
"Yeah, like where it's gonna be, whose coming and what's actually gonna happen." I say
"Well I vote the gardens outside the guild hall, I think it will be a nice place to hold the ceremony."
"Yeah, that's true, espescially since all the flowers have bloomed."
"And the whole of fairy tail can come, along with some of your celestial spirit friends if you like." He says. I nod slightly.
"We need to sort out whose marrying us and whose being best man and bridesmaids and all that stuff." I say.
"Well, who'd you want your bridesmaid to be?" He asks.
"Well..." I pause.

In all honesty I'm pretty much friends with all the girls in Fairy Tail. And it will be hard to pick only a couple of them, but I still need to make the decision.
"Okay, what about Mira, Luce, Levy, Cana, Juvia and Erza?" I ask.
"Oka-"

I sigh slightly and I interrupt him.
"Hey Gray?" I mutter quietly.
"Yeah?" He asks a little shocked I interrupted him.
"What's... what's gonna happen?" I ask.
"What do you mean?" He asks.
"I mean... like when I go to the celestial world..." I say kinda sadly.

Gray POV

I look over at (Y/N) and sigh slightly. Her face is full of worry and she's been acting a bit off lately, now I know why.

I take her hand in mine and kiss it.
"Sweetheart nothings gonna change." I mutter.
"You know that's not true!" She says tears in her eyes "What if you forget about me?" She asks her head low and her hair covering her eyes "Gray, I-I don't want to go... I love you Gray and I don't want to leave you..." she mutters and I see some tears roll down her cheeks.
"(Y/N)..." I mutter "I love you okay, I'm not in love with anyone other then you. I've never actually been in love with anyone like I have done with you before. I'll wait for you (Y/N). It could be one year it could be one hundred years but I'll wait until I see you again." I say and wipe her tears away.
"I can't ask for that though... I want you to be able to move o-"
"I don't need to move on you idiot," I sigh "I've not lost you yet and I'm not going to. You'll always be there. That I know..." I mutter.

God. I want to be able to comfort her, but I don't have the right words.

"(Y/N)..." I mutter, she looks up with me her (E/C) eyes puffy and red "You're my mate, you're my girlfriend and very soon you're going to be my wife. And I don't care what happens. I'm not leaving you. I'm gonna find a way to get you back." I say and pull her into a hug. She hides her face using her hands and I sit her down on my lap where she cried harder. The tears fall through and touch my jeans and I sigh slightly and this celestial mage.

She suddenly hugs me tightly wrapping her arms around my neck and her face resting on my shoulder.
"I-I'm S-sorry. " She mutters as I start to feel the tears puddle on my shoulder "I'm so sorry I couldn't be better... that I couldn't stay... that I wasn't stro-"
"(Y/N)." I interupt she pulls away and looks at me "Don't apologise, you're perfect to me, and in all honesty I'm glad you're in my life. So thank you." I say and place my lips on hers.

Her cheeks go red and I'm not sure weather that's because she's blushing or crying.

But still, I hold her closely to me refusing to let her go. She really has been the best thing that's happened to me. Although thinking like that makes me feel like a cheesy boyfriend or one of Gajeel ' s songs.

She giggled slightly and I looked at her a little bit confused.
"Some of your thoughts still get sent to my head." She smiles.
"O-oh." I mutter a little surprised. "Actually, I was meaning to talk to you about something. Has this whole mating season or whatever has it finished?" I ask. She shakes her head slightly.
"No, it's in the middle of it tomorrow." She says with a sigh.
"Wait so... how come you're not all protective, fighting other girls etc?" I ask a little confused.

She looks down at her lap and smiles slightly.
"I guess I'm too weak meaning my body refuses to accept the season and pushes every feeling like that. It's as if it's like 'nope, sorry, not this time, you'll get hurt'. Weird huh?" She asks. I nod slightly and smile.
"Yeah kind of." I mutter.

She looks down at her feet and smiles. We where about to go through the wedding list when there was a knock on the door.

Gray and I look at each other in unison and we answer the door. There stands Draco with a 'worried' on her face.
"I found your cat on the street." She says.

In her hands was Willow. Beaten up and looked as if she'd just got fire thrown at her as her fur was singed. It couldn't have been with just fire. I knew this was magic.

The sad thing was, is that the only person who I know that uses fire magic like that is a certain Dragon slayer with pink hair.

Hey! Sorry I didn't update yesterday! But I hope you enjoyed this chapter!

Again, it's like pretty early and is just around 5 am so sorry for any mistakes I missed out!

My grandmothers coming to.our house today and I might be visiting my great, great Aunty so I may not be able to update properly until tomorrow! But I'll try my hardest.
