Chapter 14: Pleeeeaaaasssee

Gray POV

"Gray are you nuts?!" (Y/N) asks.
"Well we were going to anyway, weren't we (Y/N), and I don't see how that doesn't make a difference. " I sigh.
"Listen, I get you're trying to help me, but I don't want you to get hurt." (Y/N) says with a worried expression on her face.

I sigh and ignore (Y/N).
"Master, am I allowed to go see Erza?" I ask.
"Fine! If you're going to ignore me then I'm coming with you!" (Y/N) argues.
"No you're really not." I say "I won't get anything out of her if you go, no offence of course. But I need to know why she hates you so much. Why you? You of all people." I mutter.
"Gray is right my child." Master says "Gray, I allow you to go see Erza, I trust you won't torment her whilst you are there, however (Y/N) I forbid you to go with Gray. Please do not take it personally, (Y/N), it's just, Erza wouldn't react well." He says to her.

I can see that (Y/N) Is fighting hard not to protest buts she bites her young and deals with it.
" Yes master." She says politely.
"Don't worry (Y/N), Happy, Luce and I will protect you if anything happens whilst Lover boy here is talking to Erza." Natsu says.
"Aye sir!" Happy says.
"Yeah, I mean you can come down to the bar with me as well, I'm dying for another drink." Cana says.
"Er... Cana we've been in here for five minutes." Wendy says.
"Exactly! All the more reasons to get a drink!" Cana says.
"Don't worry! We have plenty of alcohol! Even cana wouldn't be able to drink through it." Mira says. Carla shakes her head.
"I think you're missing the point." She says disdainfully.

(Y/N) looks over at me sadly whilst the others are talking.
"Be careful okay? I know she's in a cell but she's still Erza, and she can still kick your butt, no offence of course." She says. I chuckle slightly and shake my head.
"Not with Magical Energy. No magical energy can pass through those cells." I say "I mean, sure she can probably break through those cells and pulverise me, but she'll be weak from having her magical energy drained." I say trying to reassure her. She sighs slightly and nods.
"Just... don't get hurt okay, you seem to be doing that a lot."
"Hey, I'm a fairy tail wizard. What do you expect?" I say with a small smile. She laughs slightly and then is pulled out of the room by Cana who wants a drink despertaley.

All that's left is master and I.
"Be careful Gray, (Y/N) Is right, Just because she's in a cell doesn't mean she's a different person. Erza is still Erza." Makarov says.
"Yeah, I know that Gramps, but still. I need to find out what the heck is going on." I say.
"I'm not saying you shouldn't, all I'm saying is that Erza still has her physical abilities, that little lie you told (Y/N), I hope it was just to fool her and not yourself. Understand?" He asks
"Yes master." I say.

Master walks towards the desk and presses a button, the rug near the sofa vanishes leaving a dusty staircase there.

I walk down slowly,spiderweb are everywhere, and it's kind of creepy.

Your POV

"Cheer up!" Gajeel says to me. "You look like you just lost a fight with someone." He snickers.
"Leave her alone." Levy says slapping Gajeel on the head. She walks over to me.
"He's right though. You do look a little sad, did master say something to you?" She asks.
"No, I'm fine." I say faking my usual smile.

I'm worried sick about Gray. What if something happens to him? What if, Erza turns him against me? What if Erza and him get into a fight? What if the cells break and Gray tries to protec-

My thoughts are interrupted by the doors slamming. In came Laxus and the Thunder legion.

That reminded me I needed to say thank you for saving me. Bickslow, Freed and Evergreen all follow Laxus who sits next to me in the bar.
"Hey Comet girl." He says calmly.
"Laxus! Listen I need to say tha-"
"No you don't." He says.
"But I-"
"But nothing. Now we're even." He says.
"Even?" I repeat.

He looks at me blankly studying my confused expression.
"You don't remember huh?" He asks. "Uh... no... am I missing something?" I ask. He shakes his head.
"It doesn't matter." He says then orders a drink.
"Tell me!" I say
"Nope."
"Pleeeeaaaasssee."
"Nope."
"Please tell me." I plead. Mirajane walks over to us with a smile.
"Whatever it is you should tell (Y/N)." she smiles. Laxus had a massive blush as soon as Mira had started speaking. Those two were and have been dating since before I joined the guild, but Laxus still blushed constantly whenever Mira spoke to him.

The doors to masters office slammed open and there stood Gray blushing slightly. He looked at me and walked over to me.
"Gray! How did it go?" I ask.
"I need to talk to you, but not here." He says then takes my hand in his and leaves the guildhall, before we leave I manage to grab Willow who follows me.

We all walk back in silence and as soon as we get in I look over at him.
"Gray, what's wrong?" I ask. He was still blushing.
"You were right." He says.
"About what?" I ask.
"She likes me. Her and jellal haven't been talking lately but she likes me." He says "but I know that's not the reason she's hating on you, there has to be something else." He says.

As soon as Gray told me Erza likes him I felt the blood drain from my face.
"What did you say?" I ask.
"What?" He says confused.
"When she told you she liked you, what did you say?" I ask.

Okay. I'm not going to lie. I'm insecure about this whole thing. Erza is the prettiest girl in fairy tail, she's pretty much known all across Fiore as being the most attractive female there is. Sure you have Mira and stuff and I'm not ugly, but geez. I don't think anyone would turn Erza down.

He looked away.
"Gray?" I say.
"Well I couldn't say anything." He says.
"Why do you mean?" I ask.
"She had kissed me before I could." He says a bright red.

Okay guys I managed to update in a day! Phew new record! This is a one off though I couldn't sleep last night so I started writing in here, I can't do that every night though because I was paying the price for it today whilst revising.

Anyway. Sorry to leave it on another cliffhanger. And sorry this chapter is a tiny bit smaller then most of my others. But either way! I hope you enjoy this chapter!
