Chapter 34: I hate him

Gray POV

I'm not letting (Y/N) leave on her own. I can't do that. If she wants to leave then we can leave together. I don't care what anyone thinks, I'm not letting her leave, espescially since I know this Darknight business isn't over.

This Erza / Dragon slayer / Lucy business is the reason why she's leaving. Only a day ago we where fighting Darknight. I'm not letting her leave. I won't let her leave. Not on her own at least.

"Gray, I cant let you do that." She says. I glare at her.
"You don't have a choice. If you're leaving then I am too." I say.
"Gray, stop. You've got everything here, your friends, your family."
"You are my family (Y/N)," I say. I see a faint blush appear on her face. "Sure the guild is my family too, but if I need to I'll leave. I have memories and that will keep me going, but there's no way I'm letting you leave alone." I say sternly.
"You'll have memories of me too." She says with a sad smile. "I hate saying this, but, those wizards are more help to you then I ever will be." She says her (E/C) eyes looking down at the blue carpet.

I sigh loudly and look at her.
"You idiot." I muttered "I don't care if they are more help then you ever will be, you're my girlfriend, and in all honesty, I get that they're my friends but knowing you're not there it won't be right." I say. By the time I finished saying this her eyes were filled with tears that threatened to spill.
"But, this is all my fault, I can't make you pay for my problems too." She says now looking up at me.
"I don't care if they're your problems I'm helping you with them!" I now desperately want her to know that I'm not letting her leave alone.

After a minute or two of utter silence she sighs and then nods.
"Fine." She says "but stay in the Fairy Tail guild."
"What? Why?!" I ask confused.
"Because," She pauses "if anything were to happen to me I want you to be able to come back to the guild." She says.
"I could always rejoin-"
"Just promise me." She says stating directly at me. I sigh slightly and then nod. "Good." She mutters
"What's going to happen to Willow?" I ask confused.
"I'm thinking of leaving her here." She says quietly.
"Why?!" I ask in shock
"I've dragged that little purple cat along everywhere for so long. She's been through my ups and downs and she deserves a little bit of happiness. Even if it means that I gave to leave her... after all I guess that proves I just bring unhappiness." She said with a sad laugh.

But you don't get it. That purple ball if fuzz was your father's creation you idiot. She needs to come with you in order to protect you.

I sigh and shake my head slightly.
"You idiot, she needs you just as much as you need her." I say glaring at her. She smiles slightly
"She has Lily, therefore she's fine." She laughs "I think they're in loooooove." (Y/N) tries to imitate Happy ' s voice and fails miserably.

She starts laughing hysterically at her failed attempt but very soon her laughs turn into sobs.

Tears are falling down her face and she rubs them out nod her eyes trying to stop them from falling but her tears gush out of her eyes like a waterfall.
"I'm gonna miss them all Gray." She says. I pull her into a hug and sigh.

"Why are you even leaving?" I ask in a serious tone. I just realised I never actually found out why she was leaving. She looked up at me with her tear - streaked face and cried harder.
"N-no! Don't cry harder!" I say a little worried. She looks at me and laughs s little.
"Because then.. maybe then things will return to normal, I'm only leaving until Aquila gets back to me." She says wiping her tears out of her eyes.
"Aquila?" I ask a little confused
"Venture, the eagle celestial spirit."
"The guy who you kissed on the cheek?" I ask. She rolls her eyes slightly but then nods.
"Yes him." She says.

That was the one that (Y/N) kissed on the cheek, and boy do I hate him. I swear anyone that gets (Y/N)'s attention, it's annoying me. Even that stupid flame brain was annoying me.

Part of me is glad he's not as friendly with (Y/N). Although, I know how much it's affecting her. It's only been a day since we've beaten the dark guild with all of them, and half of them have already turned against her.

I take her hand in mine and sigh.
"You idiot, why don't you just fight them? Erza challenged you right? Meaning she's waiting for you and the dragon slayers to battle you, why don't you just fight her."
"Because I don't actually want to harm Erza." She says

Your POV

Gray doesn't get it does he? I don't want to hurt anyone, but the only way doing this painlessly is getting Aquila to tell me more about this celestial spirit and what it's like. That is the only way to know for sure.

"I left the guild because thats the only way that I can stop this for now." I mutter. My eyes fall onto the blue carpet yet again.

As I open my mouth to say more there's a bright light coming out of nowhere. Soon out of that bright light a familiar figure with wings appears from it. Aquila.

He smirks at me and then bows.
"I heard you called?" He asks. I run to him and hug him tightly glad to see his presence. When I step away Gray is glaring at him, although I don't pay much attention to it.
"I'm so glad you're here!" I say. " I need your help!" I say. He nods slightly then hands me a key.
"Before we start here is my key, I hope you use it well." He smiles "I have no contract with any other mages meaning that I am yours at any time." He says. I smile great fully.
"Thank you very much!" I giggle slightly.
"Okay, now what do you need?" He asks in a polite tone.
"How do we beat this celestial spirit possessing everyone?" He asks.

There was silence, and then he looked me straight in the eye.
"You beat her with magic of course, it won't harm the wizard she's possessing, however," He paused "She will mess with you." He says.
"What do you mean? " Gray asks
"I mean, after she beats you She will make an offer to you. An offer to own something that you've always wanted." He says his tone a serious one and his eyes stuck on mine.

By the way, I'm sorry I really don't like this chapter but I wanted to update for you, so here it is! I hope you enjoyed it!

I'm sorry if it was boring / a bit random / the worst chapter there is but I tried XD

Anyway, here it is. I'll try update as soon as I can bit it turns out the school are striking end of year exams on people randomly, I have one on Thursday so I probably won't update until the weekend! But I'll honestly try my hardest!
