Chapter 10 - Bellatrix, the Female warrior

Gray POV

(Y/N) opens her eyes but they are glowing a pastel pink colour. She looks over at me and smirks.
"Gray Fullbuster, Princess (Y/N)'s boyfriend and possible candidate for her mate. Age - unknown exactly due to a disapearance of him for 7 years, trained with Master Ur." She said. She then looked at me and grinned. "What a pleasure to meet you Gray Fullbuster." She smiles.
"(Y/N)? What the hell is going on?" I ask. She grins.
"Ahh, I see you obvouisly haven't figured it out yet, my names Bellatrix, one of Princess (Y/N)'s dark keys." She smiles.
"What the hell have you done to her?" I yell.
"Oh, don't worry." She smiles "this is part of our contract." She says.
"What?!" I ask.
"Every now and again I possess Princess (Y/N)'s body then do an analysis of everyone around her and her thoughts, therefore if she where to call me I wouldn't only fight with just my strength." She says.

I look at her completely confused.
"So let me get this right, you poses (Y/N) whenever the heck you feel like it, then you creep into other people's thoughts and then use that in battle?" I say. She nods her head.
"Yes Mr Fullbuster you are correct. My Ways of our contract aren't as brutal as others, although it seems like it, some keys try to kill (Y/N) and the only way to keep the key is to win in battle, otherwise, she's dead and of course, the key is useless to her." She says.

I look at her and sigh. That stupid idiot... she... she risks her freaking life all the time for those keys, and they could kill her at any point.

"So how long do you possess her for?" I ask.
"24 hours." She says "in this time I am in control of (Y/N) meaning I am in control of her powers, and I choose who to fight." She then smirks. "So what do you say Mr Fullbuster?"
"Wait you want to fight me?" I ask a little shocked.
"Yes Mr Fullbuster, I do indeed. But let's add a little twist to this." She smiles. "Open Gate of the Female Warrior: Bellatrix!" She says.
"Why are you calling in yourse-"

I was interupted by (Y/N) standing there with a brown top and a brown diagnal skirt thing. She had a tribal tattoo on her arm and she looked so confused.
"Gray... what happened...?" She says a little confused.
"Your spirit is making me fight her after she possessed you, turns out she wants us to fight too." I say. She looks down at her outfit.
"Bellatrix?" She asked. I nodded. "Please don't blame her, she goes back to her original personality when she isn't a spirit and a human."I say.
"Enough Chit-chat Princess! Defeat Gray Fullbuster." Bellatrix said

Your POV

"W-Wait! You want me to try and kill Gray?" I ask shocked
" Yes, that is what I'm saying, if you defeat him then I'll go back to my gate and we can carry on with our contract, if not, say goodbye to our contract." She smiles.
"What the hell?!" I yell.
"So much for you being the less brutal one." Gray muttered.
"But why Gray?" I ask.
"I chose Gray for three reasons, one, you love him so this will be entertaining, two, he is not a dragon slayer and possibly your mate, that's just weird, and three, do you really think he can help you and help you get to your father and the rest of the dark keys?" She said with a sickly smile.
"Just because Gray isn't a dragon slayer does not mean he shouldn't be my mate! I love Gray, and I don't care what you or anyone else has to say! Secondly, yes I do, I know he can, he's stronger then everyone thinks." I say angrily.

When Bellatrix is a Celestial spirit she is an apologetic, kind, fiesty spirit. However she returns to the way I found her whenever we gave to renew our contract, and for a dark key that's every year, for a gold or silver key you never do, but dark keys are different. It's hard to stay calm at her when she's like this.

"Well then he can prove it." She smiles. I look over at Gray and he meets me with a soft smile.
"You need this key, am I right?" Gray asks. I shake my head.
"Not if it means I have to kill you." I say. "I'll find a way to keep you both, Bellatrix is part of my family, but I refuse to let you die!" I say. Gray smiles slightly sadly.
"(Y/N), she made it obvious, there is no other way." He mumbled. He pulled a piece of my (H/C) hair out of my face "I'll battle you, but I'm not going without a fight." He whispers quietly before placing his lips on mine. Tears roll down my face. When he pulls away he wipes them and I start to cry harder.
"I'm not doing this! I'm not going to kill you!" I yell. He looks at me and smiles.
"(Y/N), You have no choice." He smiled "ICE MAKE: -"
"Then I'll refuse to fight and you can kill me." I said. He stops. Bellatrix looks at me with a smirk on her face.
"If it means I've got to loose one of you then you should just fight me now Gray, you both mean so much to me." I mutter "Bella, is like a sister, and you're... well... you already know what I think of you. " I mutter. He looks at me with a cold stare and then I look away. I suddenly feel a warm hand take mine and I look up to see Gray stood there smiling at me.
"Even if I try I wouldn't be able to." He smiles. He then looks at Bellatrix. "And you, what the actual Hell is wrong with you?" He says "Can't you see she loves you like a sister and you're just throwing that away."

Bellatrix smiled slightly.
"My emotions don't matter, this is our contract, I need to know weather she is worthy enough, or strong enough for my key." She says.
"Worthy enough?" Gray repeats angrily "And what would the King say if he finds out you got his daughter killed?" He asks. Bellatrix just smiles.
"By using my Key (Y/N) Is using dark magic, she knows it's a risky business and if she dies then he will know it's her own fault."

There was complete silence as Gray just stared at me.
"Dark... magic?" He asked. Bellatrix smiled.
"Oh? Did precious Princess (Y/N) not tell you that?" She smiles. "Oops!" She said sarcastically.
"(Y/N)? Is this true?" He asks.

I look down at my feet and break our hands away from each other.
"I told you they were dark keys..." I said quietly.
"Yeah, but not that they were classified as dark magic!"
"The only reason that they're classified as dark magic is because they can kill their owner, it's not because they're evil or anything!" I say.
"Oh really?" He asked. He looked at Bellatrix. "Is this true?" He asked. She nodded.
"Slightly, that and the powers involve messing with people's minds." She said quietly. "Anyway. I think you've proven that you do not deserve my key."
"Just give me a chance!" I say.
"And how would I do that?" She asks.
"Return me to my original body state and fight me." I said.

Gray POV

I stared at (Y/N). She had lied to me about her magic, and now she wanted to risk her life.

"Very Well." She smiles, (Y/N)'s body's eyes return to her usual (E/C) colour and The (Y/N) in the brown clothing immidiatley starts to send off a bright light. Suddenly standing there is a girl with Red wavy hair, Sakura Pink eyes and tribal tattoos with a sickly smirk on her face and a dagger in her right hand. "Ah! It's so much nicer to be back in my body."She said quietly, then looks at me. "Aww, what's wrong sweetheart?" She asks as she walks over to me. I just stare at her uncomfortably. "Once I finish (Y/N) off you can be with me." She winked.

I thought Bellatrix was the less brutal one? I thought she didn't fight (Y/N).

(Y/N) looks away, I think she can sense that I'm annoyed at her. I don't even know if I'm annoyed at her, I don't know how I feel.

Bellatrix saw I was looking at (Y/N) and she smiled and walked to (Y/N).

(Y/N) looked at me.
"Gray, I'm sorry, I have to do thi-" Before she could finish Bellatrix had lunged forward to attack her, I quickly pushed her out of the way "Gray!" She screams as the dagger comes towards me.
