Chapter 71: I don't even know who I am

Gray POV

"Well we're here." I smile at her. She nods her head and look at the apartment "look familiar?" I ask.
"Kinda?" She said with a small laugh. I nodded slightly.
"Don't worry, you'll remember it eventually." I say.

She looks at the place uneasily and then nods eventually.
"It looks like these are just mild scratched that are bleeding a bit." She smiles looking at my injured body parts. I say injured. She's right. They're just scratches.

I nod slightly and she starts cleaning the dried blood up very carefully. I winced in pain as she apply's the wound sanitizer to clean the cuts.
"S-sorry." She says quietly. I smile and shake my head.
"It's fine." I say.

She keeps cleaning the dry blood off and then paused for a moment.
"What's wrong?" I asked. She looked down at her left hand and took the black and gold ring off of her hand and placed it on the side.
"Nothing." She says with a soft smile.

She carries on cleaning the blood off of me and laughs a little.
"He hit you pretty hard." She says with a soft smile.
"Yeah... I could sense you were close... I didn't want to scare you off by beating the heck out of him." I say truthfully. That's the last thing I want. She smiles slightly then looks up at me.
"So Gray, how did we meet?" She asks curiously.
"You were on the run." I say with a small chuckle. Her eyes widened slightly as I said this.
"I was?!" She asked shocked.  I chuckle slightly and nod my head.
"Yeah, you didn't do anything bad, just some creeps decided to chase you for some weird reasons."
"And then what happened?" She asks her eyes wide full of excitement.
"Well you and I beat them." I say.
"We did?" She asked with a big smile on her face.
"Yep!" I say.

She looked at me happily and then suddenly she looks down at her feet.
"What's wrong?" I asked her. A sad yet soft smile formed on her face as she looked up at me.
"I just... I wish I could somehow remember... remember everything that we've been through. I feel so bad forgetting about it... I mean... you've still got those memories and instead I've just left you with them. What kind of person does that?" She asks.
"The kind that's been put under a spell." I say.

Your POV

I look away from Gray and down to my feet again. I feel so bad. I mean, I know it's Cassiopeia ' s fault but still. The only thing I really remember of him is when I first saw him today. 

And then the King's Creation thing but that isn't much of a memory, more like emotions.

"Listen (Y/N), don't feel bad. It's not your fault..." Gray says. I nod my head slightly and awkwardly.
"Okay... it's just-"

He placed a finger on my lip to shush me and I looked up at him.
"Listen, you're an over thinker.  You overthink things and the more we talk about it the worse you're gonna feel so, how about we just put the past behind us? You'll get your memories back.  I know you will, this is you were talking about."
"But I don't even know who I am though, how am I suppose to get my memories back when I don't have anything to start with."

There was silence and I looked up at Gray who looked deep in thought.
"Very well then,  we'll go from the beginning."
"Gray tha-"
"My names Gray Fullbuster, Ice wizard of Fairy Tail, part of Team Natsu and I have a fiancé called (Y/N) (L/N)." He smiled "I'm eighteen years old, and I like annoying the hell out of my team mate Natsu Dragneel and going on Jobs. I also have a really bad habit of stripping due to the fact that when I was younger I was taught that it was the best way to connect with your magical energy." He chuckles "and after that it turned into a habit."

I laughed slightly and looked up at him.
"That explains earlier." I smile.
"You bet!" He then pauses "What about you?"
"Well... I'm (Y/N) (L/N) and princess to the celestial throne..." I pause "and I can't remember anything else.
"What do you like to do (Y/N)?" He asks.
"I don't know?" I say.
"Well since your accident what have you enjoyed?" He says with a soft smile.
"Well... I guess... I enjoy reading, and I enjoy spending time with people around me. I like discovering new things and I like going to places, although I'm not too fond of travelling... it makes me kind of travel sick."
"That's a dragon slayer for ya." He chuckled.
"A dragon what now?" I ask.

He looks at me and laughs slightly.
"(Y/N) I'm sure You've guessed by now that you haven't always been in the celestial world," Gray says. I nod my head "meaning you have to have come from somewhere."

And so Gray proceeded to tell me about my past in the human world.

Leo POV

When I returned to the celestial spirit world I walked over to the palace and went straight to the Queen.
"The wedding is off." I mutter quietly.

The Queen looks at me with shock.
"Is that so?" She asked with a small smirk.
"Some guy came up out of nowhere claiming to have known (Y/N), apparently he was engaged to her.  Your Majesty, is this the truth?" I ask staring at her in the eyes.

She looked at me with a hurt expression, although it seemed extremely fake.
"And, why would I lie to you Leo?" She asks "there would be no purpose to." She says.
"That's what I thought, that was until I realised that Mr Fullbuster is human, am I right? Surely the royal palace of the celestial world would hate for the kingdom to be in rule by a human."
"Oh Leo... how correct you are my young boy, however this isn't just about the celestial Kingdom at stake."
"Then what is it about?" I asked.
"Oh, Leo, I doubt you're ready to know." She smirks then turns her back on me.

I suddenly lost my temper.  I didn't care that this witch in front of me was the Queen. I didn't care about any of that. All that I had felt was suddenly coming out as rage.
"You doubt I'm ready?!" I say yelling "you created fake emotions for me to feel towards (Y/N) and you expect me to just let that go?! I have a right to know weather you think I'm ready or not!" I say shouting at her. My fists were clenched in anger.
"Very well then. Since you're so desperate to know, I guess I could tell you," She pauses then turns around to look me directly in the eyes "my young boy, the Darknight guild is at stake too." She smirks.

Sorry,  last chapter I didn't leave it on a cliffhanger and that was just too much for me to take not doing it twice in a row. Sooooo here. Have a cliffhanger.

But hey, I know you guys hate cliffhangers and all, but look on the brightside. The more cliffhangers you get the more non - cliffhanger chapters you get! Makes sense? Probably not XD
