Chapter 29: We're not a pity party!

Third Person POV

Wendy. Natsu. Gajeel.

Carlas' voice rank in her head. Her family, her fellow dragon slayers. And they all wanted to kill her too?

Confusion filled her mind and she couldn't think of anything but those three names. If anything those three where the people she trusted most.

They knew what it was like to be a dragon slayer, they knew what it was like to be abandoned. So why where they abandoning her?

It took (Y/N) a minute to realise there's a chance that the celestial spirit must have gotten hold of them too. But that wasn't any better. That means the spirit had gotten stronger.

(Y/N)'s relationship with Wendy was distant, they where friends, not very close but still, (Y/N) viewed Wendy as her little sister.

Then you had Gajeel. You could always trust Gajeel to make something light - hearted.

Then there was Natsu. Her best friend. The guy who, after Gray, she would run to immidiatley if there was any trouble.

If they can get hold of Natsu, they can get hold of anyone.

(Y/N)'s (E/C) eyes looked up at the boy standing next to her.

Even Gray.

She immidiatley shook that thought out of her head. She couldn't afford to think like that. She had enough to deal with without thinking about her boyfriend turning against her.

There was utter silence across the room.
"Don't worry." (Y/N) muttered. "I'll fix this." She says.
"But how?!" Willow asks "(Y/N) they all want to kill you!" She says.

Willow looked at her Dragon slayer helplessly. She wasn't actually going through with this, was she? No. She couldn't be. She knows there's no way for her to beat the three dragon slayers.

But still, Willow knew that even if (Y/N) did know there's no way for her to beat the dragon slayers, she would still try her hardest.

(Y/N) looked over at Gray and sighed.
"There's obviously been a change of plan. Instead of Natsu we're taking Laxus." She says. She looks at all the exceeds. "I'll sort it out somehow. But for now, if you don't feel safe with your dragon slayers then you can stay with Willow " She pauses for a moment letting a tense silence fill the room "But for now I need to get this sorted."

(Y/N) looks over at Gray and sighs.
"We'll get dressed and sorted and then we'll go. We have a busy day." She says in a soft voice that sounded slightly fearful.
"Okay." Gray said softly and soothingly trying to calm his girlfriend down.

(TIME SKIP! )

"So what's going on?" Laxus asked the two mages who were looking slightly worried.
"We need your help. We've got Cana, Lucy and Mira on board but we really need you as well." (Y/N) mutters desperately.

Laxus raises his eyebrows and smirks.
"You guys are asking for my help?" He asks.
"Yes." Gray mutters quietly.
"Well, I'd be happy to help. Now what's going on?" The blonde dragon slayer asked intrigued.

Gray and (Y/N) both look at each other and then back at Laxus.
"All you need to know is there's going to be a fight." I say.
"With who?" Laxus asks crossing his arms in an expecting way.

There was yet again silence, which felt like the thousandth time today for (Y/N), however Gray soon broke it and (Y/N ) was very greatful.

"With the three dragon slayers." Gray says
"And Erza." (Y/N) matters.

Laxus stares at the two mages as if they where insane. Surely they knew that they had no way of beating Erza and the dragon slayers.

"Listen Comet Girl and ice ballerina, it's cute your thinking you can beat those four, it really is bu-"
"We're not a pity party!" (Y/N) interupts.

For some reason she snapped. She hated the thought of people judging her. She hated asking people for help, but she had no other choice, and after Mira and Cana, Lucy, Laxus was her best bet.

"I get we're going a bit too far but we have to!" She cries "this isn't just a simple fight! Those four are possessed by a celestial spirit that could take any one of us next!" She yells. "I'm asking you for help because you, Mira, Cana and Gray can help me beat them...if we... if we just work hard enough..." tears threatened to spill once again "I know we'll make an amazing team!" She says trying to convince herself too. "Please Laxus!" She pleaded despertaley

He looks at her and sighs.
"Fine! I guess I need to show you guys what a real fight is." He mutters "but I'm not doing this for you, I just don't want my Mira to get hurt, nor do I want Cana injured. That girls like a sister to me." He says.

Gray smiled at Laxus and (Y/N) hugged her boyfriend with happiness.
"But there's one condition." He says staring directly at (Y/N)
