Alright. I'm still trying to process what I just heard yesterday, at the mall.
Fiancée.
So, they are getting married. Sooner or later. How that would make her very happy.
I'm still hoping she would say no.
A S H T O N
The interview was finished. Nothing has been asked about the marriage. Maybe our manager told them not to but at the end, they asked, "How are your relationships going?"
With a follow up question, "Is there any changes?" They are trying to get to the point of the marriage. Not just straight to the point. They would ask it no matter what. People wanted to know, atleast our fans wanted to.
Calum shrugged. He's always silent. He'd just smile and laugh with us but he barely say anything unless he was directly asked.
Michael was grinning and said, "Its been all normal. The fridge and I have been dating since I was in my mother's womb." And everybody laughed.
The girl commented with, "That'd be a great news for Michael girls."
"We are all busy so... We don't think much about having a girlfriend. We don't have much time." Luke said, flatly and truly. Like we would drag ourselves to bed and the next thing you hear is your alarm snoozes like ten times already. Body aches. Eye bags. Endless parties for celebration for every success we meet.
"How about you Calum?" The girl asked, eager to know what was Calum's status. "We can't get a shrug for an answer."
We all looked at him and he burst out to laughing. He might still into Luke's sister. "You know, I've been very well. I'm feeling good for our concert for Asia next year 2016. Sounds Live Feels Live. " And he made it out alive.
That was smooth Cal. Good job.
It was my turn and they didn't have to say anything. "Mine's doing well and let's keep it that way." I said and the set rolled off.
We had a few picture takings with the audience and with some staff and went off for the bus.
There was no missed call or text message.
S A R A H
I have forgotten about Ashton when I woke up because who wouldn't be surprised if you've seen your brother who you just picked a fight with? I was hoping that he, Ashton, won't get mad with this.
I texted him with, "Babe. I'm sorry. Chris came home. Catch up later. Text me when you are free. Take care."
I was walking down the stairs. I was glad they didn't saw me when I just woke up. And I didn't know how to act. Everyone was already there. Ace, Sam, my parents and Chris and Spencer. She was always gorgeous. She ran up to me when she saw me and hugged me tighter than Ashton have. I had to tiptoe to hug her back. She's tall, like really, like Hemmings.
"How are you?! I've heard you are get-" I shut her up by squeezing her hands so hard that she had to say ouch.
I smiled but whispering through the thin line of my fake smiling, "They don't even know. Now shut up."
Spencer was cool. Like really, she has this nice side of attitude like Taylor Swift but with a blend of badass bitch kind of rock star like Andy Biersack. And I guess she'd be a perfect partner for my brother. Its so nice we get along so well.
Spencer went back to Chris and whispered something into Chris' ears.
"Have you guys eaten your breakfast already?" I asked because it was too early for a Saturday to be up at eight in the morning.
They nodded and I headed myself to the kitchen for breakfast.
I found pieces of pancakes at the plate with strawberry syrup. I hurriedly grab a plate from the cabinet and took two pieces.
While I was busy eating like a glutton I heard a ting sound of glass that brought my head up. I saw Ace taking out a carton of milk from the fridge and pour half of the glass in front of him. "I knew you're gonna love it."
He put the glass of milk beside my plate. I said thank you and continue eating as he rest his elbows from the island. I could see him watching me at the corner of my eyes.
I stopped. "Ace. I'm eating, what do you want?"
He shrugged but didn't move. He rest his elbows still and said, "Observation."
"What observation?" I asked and took a spoonful piece of pancakes.
"Of how much you've..." He hangs his sentence. He always have since I came home.
"What about me?"
"Nothing. I suggested to your mother to buy strawberry syrup because you're probably over with chocolates." He said and finally move. But beside me, at the table.
"Really? You are Irwin's fiance?" he asked, silently. Almost whispered.
Just as I finished the last bite of my pancake. I went to the sink and told him to keep quiet because my parents don't even know it yet.
I wanted to know what Ashton would do. If he'd tell my parents and ask for my hands properly or just tell them that we are engaged.
"Why don't you just tell them?" Ace asked. Ace has been that guy friend who I always tell everything, like no secrets, even the depths of my mind.
But this time I want to get go my way. Sometimes you have to walk the streets by yourself. "I don't know, I just feel its just not the right time?"
"If it isn't, then..." he grabbed a piece of cake by his hand and ate it, "why did you say yes?"
"Its Ashton Irwin Ace and I know that you know that I loved him and I always have. I mean, why would I say no?"
