I R W I N

Michael and I were arguing on about what to say to our manager about the two missing band members. Before we went outside, before we gathered all the courage to face up, that's just when the two showed up behind us.

It was relieving, I always hated to lie. Lying was never my thing but I am good at it if necessary. White lies as what you describe it.

"Where have you been Calum? I couldn't reach you." I asked him when I caught him by the shoulder and dangles my arm around it.

"I was unwinding. I turned my cellphone off. I needed atleast a ten minute nap by the ocean." he said as he scratch his eyes, taking out morning stars.

"I see, how about you? Where is Arzaylea?" I asked, he seemed so happy but looked anxious at the same time.

"I'm gonna get kicked by the butt." he said, laughing. His beard has grown, I just noticed and I think it gives the fangirls life.

"What did you do?" I asked but he never answered but a smirk.

We reach the room and felt relieved again with the thought of not lying. Not again, I won't do it again. I maybe a good liar but my conscience is killing me, always.

As soon as we sat by the couch, as well as the other staff positioned by the chairs and some sat at the carpet in front of us. I preferred the carpet though, I'm sinking in at the couch. Mostly, the guys sat behind us, by the back of the couch. Our manager started what this urgent meeting was about. He discussed the details, the hours and the production numbers.

"There's going to be an audition for this tour and we are going back to London since that's where our 'permanent address' is," he quoted.

Michael asked, "Auditions? What is this about? Why are we having auditions? You told us about the hours, the days, the people in respective positions. But what is this about?" Michael asked, eager to have a clearer vision about this. "You know?" he said as he shook his head.

"I don't know to be honest." he said and everyone's jaw dropped and I saw Luke started to speak up, "Then how is this an urgent meeting?" he said, disappointed.

Murmurs started to ascend as he tried to keep them low and said, "Alright, so I still don't know where this is going but I have a plan. I know all of these ideas are going somewhere, it always go somewhere. Somewhere profitable but this time I'm taking time to spend it somewhere else, I mean like..." I could sense that he wanted to say it but it was hard for him so I finished it.

"Like charities. You know, its okay. We don't have to have auditions or dancers or anything," I put my hands up to my chest and sat up properly (not crossing legs), "not that I'm being selfish and being like self-centered or being over confident. We," I looked at our manager, "we can do this. We made through with the past tour and somehow we managed to earn a high profit and just enough for all of us to go home and have money to have great holidays. Right? Although we didn't have it all, we are still here kicking and screaming. And you know, honestly, you yourselves could be a dancer." I look for Topher, "Him," I pointed him, "he's our sound system manager but he knows how to dance. And Jam, she's managed the animation to the back but she knows how to dance. And who knows? All the people here are."

"How about give other people a chance, you know? The talented fans," Calum said and he has a point. "to show off."

We both look at our manager and the rest of us too. "Don't put this on me. I never thought you'll have different point of views in this." he walks from right to left, "It both have good intentions of course, both reasonable, in different ways."

We were told to go out the room to make up his mind. To decide whether he'd approve Calum's or my suggestion which I definitely know were both the right thing. But if the management's target was to improve the fanbase then he'll probably would go to Calum's or if he's concerned about the budget then he'll definitely go to my suggestion.

I got an idea, "Hey," our manager looked back, "Or you can go with whatever was on your mind before the meeting started." I said and smiled then walked away.

Walking towards the room I saw Clarisse standing by the door. I approached her, it would be just rude to walk passed by a person that you're working with. "How you doing?" I said, smiling, and walking passed but she respond and I just couldn't ignore that.

"Did you really proposed to Sarah?" That hit me into a stop. Like, it was months ago and someone still remember it. She remembers it.

I gulped and I felt that my adams apple just went down and up, "Why would you want to know?" I asked, looking back to her completely, facing her. My perspective towards her changed that instant. I mean, you just can't go invite people to urgent meetings and asks about personal lives. We just met, about half an hour ago. I expect simple questions from the people I just met. Yet again, after all, I chose this life. We can never have privacy. Or atleast we choose the things we say or coat it with something.

"I don't know, I just want to?" she said, shrugging as if, seemed like to her, that this question was easy to answer. She was darting me, eyeing me, and that made me feel uneasy.

"I don't offer people my personal lives just because they want to. I need deeper reasons. I need to go, see you around." I said as polite as possible.

Sitting by the couch I couldn't get Clarisse out of my mind, not because I'm inlove with her but because of how can she be such a jerk? (I'm such a judgmental person, I know) And that makes me sad, I expected more of her than being like that and that 'see you around' next time would be as awkward at its best.

I went by my things and prepared a backpack to get out of here but suddenly the door banged open, the boys bursting in the room laughing their asses off. They told me that we were going home, not to Australia but to England.
