"What are you doing here?" Were the words she uttered by the time she opened her eyes in the morning. She didn't flinched, she wasn't surprised. Just a woman asking a man.

It was 10 o'clock, too late for a person like her who usually wakes up at 8. We stayed up until 3, just talking about anything, everything that comes into mind. I haven't told her about the blurry memories I've been seeing though. I didn't know why but my guts says so.

"I'm trying to memorize your features. My memory completely lost it." I said.

For the first time since in the hospital, she seemed happy and oddly, I was too. "Breakfast?"

"Do you remember?," Luke asked while we were trying to figure out why not cook using gas stoves and a pan inside instead of woods and sticks under the screaming sun.

"I do remember," ever since I lost a specific memory of her, whenever we talk about her, I always feel this rush of anger through me but now, its unusual to feel this inner peace just trying look at her. And it was oddly satisfying. "But not her."

"Are you even trying?" He break the woods in half and put it in the stacks we already have made.

"We talked yesterday and the night before. We talked about a lot of things actually." I was trying to find the match when Luke tossed it. I scratched the sides and let the fire take over the woods.

Grinning, he asked. "How did it go?"

"It was nice. It was nice to talk to someone who knows you all too well when you don't even know how to trace back home." I said, throwing a glance at her again. Michael and Calum was trying to get her into the water and she couldn't let go because of muscular arms of these individuals.

She'd flinched and fell bareback to the sand. I was taken aback that it made me stand up. She wasn't moving but after a few seconds she started to laugh.

"For a moment your heart stopped, doesn't it?"

Luke left, he signaled that he'd go inside to bring the barbecue out to get cooked.

A few hours after eating we got a text message from our manager. It said that we were invited into a ball. It was weird, all of us shared a look. We never thought about being invited and this kind of celebration were only for royal families, honestly.

     But it was thrilling.

A new thing. Something that we weren't familiar with. "We should try." I muttered. No one's sharing what's in their heads so I tried to share mine. "After all, we always crave for something that would make us feel alive. Let's give it a shot."

"But he didn't say whose ball." Calum said and I read the text message again. He was right.

"He probably assumed that we knew. From a royal family. Cliché. Something like that." I respond.

Michael was still reading. Just how long was the message for him?, "Hey Mike, what are you on?"

He lift his sight up to me and pointed himself, "Me?"

    I nodded.

"Well, the message said we should bring a partner."

My head immediately turn to where Sarah was. Jokes on me, her and Bry were on one another's side. Didn't know who I would look at. "Well, it isn't necessary. Right?"

I should've known that when it comes to work and getting partners and everything. It would always be me and Bryana. "Not really. The invitation said, Bring your partners!, with an exclamation point at the end."

"Something's not right though." Luke finally has spoken. "It doesn't feel right. My gut says no."

"Maybe let's talk about this tomorrow. We still have one month and a half for this." I said. My head hurts with analyzing everything. Trying to get to the point on having a partner in that ball and Luke's guts says no.

     Something was not definitely right.

I saw Sarah came out the foyer right after dismissing the meeting. I followed her; wearing comfortable pajamas and a large white t-shirt for her size. "Aren't you sleeping?" I asked.

"Hey. Not yet. The guys are building a bonfire. I'd join them later after this tea." She respond. Bryana and her friends are downstairs, preparing the tent they have bought to the city. Calum and Michael was helping them too.

     I nodded, "I see."

"Do you think I would like Bry? Set aside everything else. Just me and her." She turned her head to me, unfortunately I was staring at her so she looked away.

After sipping her tea, she respond. "Yeah. Why not? She's gorgeous, inside and out."

"Why did I chose you then?"

"Did I tell you why?" He asked. Why now Ashton? I still have a lot in mind.

"You did. A few times." I respond. Reminiscing the times we've had.

     "I wonder what."

"Figure out yourself. Wouldn't it be so easy for you if I tell you? That's not fair." I said and headed off but he grabbed my wrist.

I couldn't help myself but I couldn't get enough and I wanted her to stay. With me.

The tea stained her shirt because of me. "You owe me a shirt."

"I could give you all of them but can you stay and talk to me?"

It was an unusual thing for me, for someone who don't even know himself or this person I'm trying to know. But I felt like, slowly, I'm starting to trust her. "What is there to talk to?" She asked.

I tugged her inside, to the room, to spare her one of my shirts. I chose the smallest one but she said, "I love the larger ones. I feel comfortable in it."
