Cassie’s POV
Monday 6:30am
It’s to early to be getting up, for anyone. Yet our whole house hold is already alive. Sarah’s downstairs singing and Stef’s in the bathroom. I still have a warrant on my head from yesterday, so I think I’m gonna lay low. Not that that’s really possible. My phone started ringing then.
“Hey.” I said, picking it up, not even looking at who it was.
“Hey, it’s Liam, I was just wondering, could you give me Maryanne’s number?” Liam asked.
“You mean she didn’t already give it to you?” I asked surprised. “I’ll text it to you. Oh and could you tell Josh that he’s got a price on his head?”
“What?” Liam asked, confused.
“He’ll understand what I mean. Bye.” I hung up, sent the text and went downstairs. Sarah’s phone was ringing on the other side of the room. “Sarah do you want me to get your phone?” I asked, unsure of why she wasn’t answering.
“Nope.” She replied without even looking up from what she was doing.
“Why?” I asked, picking it up. I knew why. It was Josh, obviously trying to apologize. “Sarah, I’m sorry.” I tried to explain.
“Could you not have done that?” She asked, looking at me, confused. “I mean why? What if I told Zayn-”
“Don’t even think about it.”
“Exactly. Why? Look. I’m gonna get over it. I’m going out tonight anyway.” She busied herself with cleaning the bench top. She then laid the plates on the table and started eating.
“You are? Why?” I asked sitting down next to her.
“I’m going to the movies, by myself.” Sarah explained.
“Ok.” I sounded blank. “Look I am so sorry.”
“Why Cassie? Why? Why? Why?” She asked reading over the newspaper. “I know you’re sorry. But I want my diary back.”
“Tuesday night.” I replied bluntly.
Sarah’s POV
Tuesday 10:30am
I didn’t have to work Tuesday’s, so it was my stay at home day. That usually meant cleaning the house and all that stuff. But today, I felt like doing something else. I’d been writing my diary in my blog book and I felt like, now that someone has read my diary, I needed a new one.
So I went shopping all day until about five o’clock. It was great, but tiring. I wanted to go to sleep when I got home, but the guys were already there. So was Cassie.
“Hey, Stef not back from work yet?” I asked wearily as I dumped my finds on the bench.
“Nah.” Louis replied. I saw Josh looking at me, so I pulled out the new book. It was pink and had love hearts on it.
“I’m gonna go get changed. You guys want something to eat?” I offered, searching through my shopping bags. “I bought chocolate.” I threw it to them(they were all sitting on the couch) and headed up stairs.
I was humming to myself as I looked through my wardrobe. There was a soft knock on my door. I walked over and opened it door about an inch. Josh stood out there, looking sorry. He had my diary in his hands. “Can I come in?” He asked softly, looking down at his feet. I nodded and pulled the open further, letting him in. He handed me the book. Then he tried to say something, but he just moved his hands around. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have accepted to take it in the first placed. And then I read it. Then I understood. I’m so sorry.”
