Stef’s POV
It was Thursday morning and everything seemed to be a mess. Due to the boy’s schedule we weren’t going to be seeing them all day, until about nine pm. So it was a girl’s day.
We didn’t get up until late, and by late it was about eleven am but I could vaguely smell something cooking downstairs. My senses got the better of me and I wandered down stairs. I seemed to be missing all the fun; Sarah was cooking bacon and eggs and toast and pancakes while Wardy had made a paper hat out of today’s newspaper (there goes my reading) and Cass, Izzy and Maryanne were singing along to the radio.
I took a seat at the bench without a word and was quickly served some of the food Sarah was making. Just as we’d all settled down, somebody knocked on the door. Nobody was expected to be coming, and we didn’t know what typical London people were like because we were anti-socialites* (*note the sarcasm and the fact that we hadn’t otherwise had the chance to go out), and the fact that none of us go to uni or have a job and that Maryanne and I are the only ones with licenses.
After breakfast, Sarah caught up on her summer reading and began to look for jobs and possible university openings. It was the middle of the year though meaning she most likely wouldn’t get a uni opening until September. Cass on the other hand was too curious for my liking as she kept on asking me what I wanted for my birthday, which I didn’t have and answer for.
Maryanne was being called into a job interview and disappeared shortly after breakfast to get ready and go for the interview. Wardy and Izzy caught the bus to inner-London to go shopping and they were trying to con Sarah into going as well, but she was adamant on staying here.
I, along with being pestered by Cass continuously, was also trying to get some reading done. And still I had no definite idea of what Louis and Sarah knew that I didn’t, but Cass also wanted to know.
“Hey Sarah.” I called, from across the room. She looked up from her book, but didn’t close it. “Truth or dare.” She narrowed her eyes and looked back down to her book. “Come on. Are you scared?” I teased.
“I’m not scared, but I know what you want to know, which you aren’t supposed to know.” Then she looked at Cass. “You either.”
“Since when did I have anything to do with this?” She feigned her innocence. Sarah just rolled her eyes.
“Anyway. I have to much stuff to do at the moment. And so do you...you keep trying to guess what you don’t know, Emma.” She smirked as she skipped upstairs.
I just sat there in shock.

I was right in thinking that it was going to be late when the boys got home: after eleven thirty; they were drunk. I sat silently in the kitchen as they trudged past and upstairs not giving me a second look. It’s not that I didn’t feel safe with six drunkards in the house, but...I didn’t feel safe.
Cassie’s POV
Friday morning and the house was alive way too early for anyone’s liking. I don’t know who was up first but I know I heard a really loud bang and only hoped it wasn’t a door slamming, but at the same time, I hoped it was a door slamming.
Stef was in a particularly happy mood for the time of morning. I rolled my eyes at her as everyone else was tired as shit.
Her date was tonight meaning that it would be rather quiet here, and Louis hadn’t told her (in other words she hadn’t told us), so we would just have to wait until she got back before she said anything.
Sarah’s POV
I got up around six and saw that if was cloudy and the sun was just rising. I pulled on my tracksuit and went out for a run. Bad idea, it was frikken freezing. And then the wind started to pick up. Glad Cass wasn’t here. The wind ticks her off the most.
Anyway, when I got back, the door slammed behind me, accidentally and I think I woke up everyone else in the house. I showered and dressed then read through the newspaper that I’d picked up during my run and sat out in the backyard even though it was cold. I’d finished reading the newspaper and still I was the only one up.
Stef’s POV
Well...seeing as Louis hadn’t told me where he was taking me, I’d decided to take it casual as he was taking me out after lunch and the only thing he’d said was that we’d be back before dinner; I was going to wear jeans, t-shirt and a jacket.
“See ya.” I called as we left in the red cadillac.
When Louis pulled up to a roller rink I thought he was kidding. But we went in and might I say how bad of a skater he is.
Author's note:
So was that the date or is the date yet to happen? That is the question.
