Cassie’s POV
“We’re going to be leaving in an hour. I suggest you girls start getting ready.” Louis declared, while we were all sitting comfortably in the living room.
I smiled and got up. But then a question appeared to mind. “What sort of clothes are we wearing?”
“Appropriate ones...I hope.” Zayn sniggered. I threw him a dirty look and Louis answered.
“I think we’re going towards the ‘casual but nice enough to get into a french restaurant’ look.” Louis explained. I gave him a thumbs up and headed off to my room.
French restaurant. I have to wear something that says french restaurant. I pulled out my red pleated skirt and black top. Perfect. Silver shoes. Bangles and a coat over the top. Shower. Hair...hmm. A few moments with the straightener and I had a feathered look. I slipped in my red flower hair clip and looked at myself in the full length mirror. I thought my outfit looked quite elegant.
I went and knocked on Stef’s door. “Hey, what are you wearing?” I asked.
She opened it and she was ready also. She was wearing a blue dress with black hems and black and gold belt. She also wore a gold necklace. “I’m wearing this. Do I look ok?” She asked nervously.
“You look fabulous darling.” I faked an uptown accent. “Now, shall we go and see our other resident.”
We went back out(the boys were on the couch facing away from us) and knocked on the door. “Who is it?” She called.
“Pizza.” I replied sarcastically.
“What do you want. You can’t have my shoes or my dresses.” She explained.
“What are you wearing?” Stef asked.
“Clothes.” Sarah replied.
“I certainly hope so.” I called and opened the door. Sarah was sitting on the floor, dresses and shoes strewn all over the place.
“Nothing seems to jump out at me.” Sarah explained. She got up and went over to the drawers. “What about this?” She asked holding up a blue top. “Nope. Stef’s wearing blue.” She said more to herself, and threw it over her shoulder into the mountain of clothes.
“What about this top?” I asked, pulling out a white top with lacy hem.
“And skirt.” Stef pulled out a green blue skirt. And then a necklace. Sarah looked at us bewildered.
“Thank you so much!” She hugged us both and then went into the ensuite to change. “How do I look?” She asked as she came back out. She pulled on her best white heels and stood up quite confidently.
“Nice.” Stef and I said in sync.
“Now we have to reveal our outfits to them.” I squealed.
Stef’s POV
“Girls, are you ready to go? We need to leave.” Zayn called out to us as we stepped into the living room.
“Yeah. We’re ready.” I stated. The boys turned around in their seats and gaped.
“You look beautiful.” Louis exclaimed at me.
“Aren’t you pretty.” Zayn commented Cassie.
“You brush up well.” Josh said to Sarah.
“Shall we be going now?” Cassie asked. The guys nodded and got up. We met up with Niall, Harry and Liam in the elevator and they couldn’t help but stare at us. Sarah turned around looked the other way halfway down. I think she was blushing.
I got into the first of the three taxis we needed. Louis and Sarah got in after me, Josh got in the front. “Aimer la cuisine française, please.” Josh directed. The taxi pulled out into the road and we sat there for fifteen minutes of awkward silence.
As the taxi pulled up to the restaurant, my phone rang. It was Cassie. “Hey hey. What’s up?”
“We’re lost. And the other taxi was following us so we’re like all lost. Are you there yet?” Cass explained.
“Yeah. We just got here. How long are you guys gonna be?” I asked.
“About five minutes, you guys go in and get us a table.” Cassie advised. I hung up and put my phone back in my bag.
“So where are they?” Louis asked.
“Lost. They’ll be here in about five minutes, she said to get a table anyway.” I explained.
He nodded and we went in and got a table up the back. Sarah sat down next to Josh and began to look through the menu. The waitress came over almost immediately asked if we were ready to order. I shook my head and then she sort of stood there looking from Josh to Louis. Kinda creepy.
“We’re here.” Cassie called as she came and took her seat at the table along with everyone else. The waitress rushed off then. “So have you ordered for us?” She asked.
“No. We thought it more polite if you ordered your own food.” Louis explained.
Cass nodded and the waitress came back. “Is anybody ready to order?”
Sarah placed her order and then prompted us to follow. We all ordered completely different things so that we could pick and choose from each other’s plates. When the food arrived, we all began to take whatever looked appeasing to us. Then Louis began to feed me. It was kinda cute and funny.
Then we moved on to desserts and he accidentally got chocolate(from the chocolate dipped strawberries) on my nose. He began to laugh and I frowned and crossed my arms. “Here, hold still.” He commanded, he gently got the chocolate off my nose, then wiped it on his napkin. “Care to dance?” He asked, standing up, holding his hand out to me.
“My pleasure.” I replied, taking his hand as he pulled me out onto the dance floor. We danced around for a bit, then a Fearless came on. I looked over and saw Sarah grinning at me from the DJ box. I rolled my eyes and then Louis pulled me close.
“Hey Stef, I’ve been meaning to ask you...would you like to go out sometime, like to a movie or something?” Louis asked slowly.
“Like a date?” I asked. He nodded. “I think that’s be sweet. Of course I will.” I replied, resting my head on his chest. “There’s something ‘bout the way, the street looks when it’s just rained, there’s a glow off the pavement, you walk me to your car, and you know I’m wanna ask you to dance right there, in the middle of the parking lot, yeah.” I sing.
“You can sing really well.” Louis commented.
“Thank you.”
