Sarah’s POV

I wasn’t going to be the third wheel in with Stef and Louis while they were together. So I went upstairs and hung out with Harry, Niall and Liam. We played mario kart on the wii and I beat them hands down. “So why aren’t you with Josh today, sweetheart?” Harry asked as we started another race.

“Didn’t he tell you that he was going to visit a friend of his today?” I explained.

Harry looked over at me confused and missed the start of the race. “A friend of his? Not Alice?” He asked.

“Who’s Alice?” I asked, not really interested in his answer. Then it hit me. “Wait. Who’s Alice?” I asked a bit more eagerly this time.

Harry looked over and Niall and Liam who both looked at Harry questionably. “Is somebody gonna tall me who this ‘Alice’ character is or do I have to call him and ask myself?” I suggested.

“No no no. Don’t call him, whatever you do.” Harry reached over and took my phone out of his hand.

“Look, Sarah it’s his ex. Somehow they stayed friends. Of course tons of people have had conspiracies about if he was still with her, but you changed him. Changed him for the better.” Niall explained. “Don’t worry about it.”

“Don’t worry about it?” I breathed. I hadn’t seen my ex since our first date so I wasn’t one to talk. But this, this seemed different. It wasn’t often that you stayed friends with your ex, usually you had to have been in a strong relationship with them. But if it was strong, why would you break up in the first place? My relationship knowledge was at an all time low, not that it was ever high, but it made me feel a little insecure.

“Hey, Sarah. Sweetheart?” Harry shook my shoulders and I sank back into reality. “I promise you right now, he wouldn’t cheat. He couldn’t.” He handed me back my phone and continued racing.

I knew he wouldn’t cheat on me, no matter what, but this just seemed repulsive.

Stef’s POV

“You guys have got to be like millionaires by now, yet you live here?” I asked as Louis and I lounged about the living room.

He looked over at me. “Nah, we’re like moving out of here in three weeks. Into our own studio apartment, because right now, we have to go like all over the city to get one song recorded, but when we move in, we’ll have a recording studio and everything, so...it’ll be sweet.”

“Having a house party? Planning to invite us?” I asked sweetly, we wouldn’t need an invitation though. I just knew it.

“‘Course angel.” He said and leisurely put his arm around the back of my shoulders. “So what movie do you wanna go see?” He asked.

I thought about this a moment. “I think we should see Finding Nemo.”

He looked over at me and smirked. “You’re a real child you know?” He stated.

“Takes one to know one.” I replied. “But what did you want to see?” I asked.

“I thought it might be cool to go and see something like...I dunno...”

“No. I really want to see ’10 things I hate about you’.” I suggested suddenly.

“That is such an old movie though.” Louis almost complained. Almost. He must have seen me giving him puppy dog eyes and that made him sway. “Ok, fine. That’s what we’ll see.” He gave in. I grinned.

Cassie’s POV

The ride back we sang to pretty much every song on the radio. He got me some ice cream and we drove home. Once we got back to their apartment, dinner was had and sleeping was done.

In the morning, I pulled Stef and Sarah aside. I really hadn’t had a moment to myself yet, but in truth, I really didn’t mind. “So...how was it?” Stef asked teasingly.

“It was amazing.” I practically screamed.

“Sh!” They both shushed me. I shrugged.

“Did he say he loved you?” Sarah asked lightly. I hesitated a moment before answering. “He didn’t, did he?” She asked again. I shook my head. Sarah sighed. “You’ve known him for a month and a bit. What do you expect? My parents were dating for a long time before they said ‘I love you’.” She explained.

“Well you had a good time though, didn’t you?” Stef asked me.

I considered this a moment. “Like I said; it was amazing. And I love him.”
