Stef’s POV
10:15am
Louis was sitting up on the roof. It was like a garden or something. “I see you found me.” I giggle as he says that. He gestures for me to climb up there. I see the ladder partly overgrown by vine plants, but I climb up it anyway. On the roof there is a greenhouse and a table and chairs.
“Wow.” Was all I managed to say.
“You like my garden?” Louis asked, sitting down in one of the chairs around the table. He patted the seat next to him and I scurried over.
“I love it. But I didn’t think you were the gardening type, but it’s beautiful.” I commented. I took a moment or two to take in the beauty.
“Do you wanna go downstairs? We were planning to have brunch while you were here.”
“Yeah, sure.” He went down the ladder first, then I followed. He seemed to know exactly where we were going, because next thing I knew, we were standing in the living room.
“Here’s the dinning room.” Louis said, pushing back a bi-folding door. The dining room was huge! The dining table took up the majority of the room, but at the far end was a pool table. “Do you play?” He asked me, going to set it up.
“Yeah, but not well.” I said, taking the cue he handed me.
“That’s ok. Me either.”

“I know I’m no better than you, but try this.” Louis demonstrated, as he angled the cue, trying to show me how to take my shot. I angled it up, but he gave me a funny look. “No, no. Like this.” Louis directed me. I re-angled the cue up right, but I just couldn’t do it.
“I can’t.” I complained.
“Here, do it again.” Louis told me. I did as he told and then suddenly he had both his arms either side of me, angling the cue up right. I was trapped. I leant over, letting his hands guide mine. I drew back the cue, and took my shot. I pocketed the ball, but he hadn’t moved. “Well done.” He whispered in my ear. I was a little light headed for a second. He moved back around the other side of the table and the moment was gone.
Cassie’s POV
10:20am
Zayn and I are sitting together, in the library. I’m not actually listening, but I’m looking like it. Actually, I’m just staring at his flawless face. He’s laughing now, maybe I should laugh. “Cass, you weren’t listening to a word I was saying, were you?” He asked, still laughing.
I stopped laughing and realised I was probably looking like an idiot. Then there was that awkward moment, where neither of us knew what to say. “So, why did we come over?” I said. Why did I say that? I could have been funny, spontaneous, romantic, logical or anything else! But no. I had to ask a sensible question.
“‘Cause we wanted some company and you had left your bag,” He paused, looking around. “Which I need to return to you, by the way. Oh and we are now inviting you over for brunch. You wanna go eat? Everybody’s probably already been found by now.” He walked around the desks, but instead of going through the bathroom, he went right and suddenly we were going down a corridor.
Sarah’s POV
10:25am
We are now entering the kitchen. “Niall,” Harry called, his arm still wrapped around my waist. I was creeped out by it, a lot. “Time to eat.”
“Awesome.” Niall said, stepping out of the pantry. Where else would he be? “Brunch?” He asked looking at Harry. “And you are?”
Before I could answer, Harry says; “This is my chick, Sarah.” That’s the moment I flip. I push him off me and step down into the living area.
My moment of courage suddenly comes around. I confidently walk back into the kitchen. “Listen here; I am nobody’s chick. Another thing, I can introduce myself thank you very much.” I glared at Harry.
Niall raised his eyebrows and gave me a surprised look. “If you can get a word in on your own, you’re welcome here any time.” He said. That kind of surprised me, him welcoming me. He only knew my name. I brushed it off and rested my elbows on the kitchen bench, before holding my head in my hands.
“Do you want me to take anything over to the table?” I asked, looking from Niall to Harry.
“Yeah, sure.” Niall opened the fridge and handed me two fruit platters. I balanced them on the palms of my hands, and wandered over to the dinning table.
“Hey, you guys ready to eat?” I asked, calling Stef and Louis over to the table.
“Guys.” Harry called. “”It’s time to eat.” That sort of puzzled me. I looked around the room. Harry, Niall, Louis, Cassie arrived moments ago with Zayn. Only Liam was still in hiding...right?
I sat down and waited until everyone else was seated. Liam walked out, smoothing out his shirt collar and somebody was following him. I didn’t know who it was, but they sat down and ate like they were best friends.
Stef’s POV
10:30am
“Oh, hey Cassie.” Sarah said reaching around behind herself. “I found your backpack.” Sarah hung it on the back of her chair.
Louis was sitting to my left, to my right, Cassie sat. I grabbed a piece of watermelon off the closest platter and ate it hungrily. Then I stopped. I knew that in this great moment would be over. I was going to wake up and it would have been a dream...any second now, but I wasn’t dreaming. A smile spread across my face realising where I was sitting here!
I must have stopped eating for a while, because the next thing I hear is; “Hey, you, Stef, are you gonna eat that?” Niall asked, eyeing off my half eaten piece of watermelon. In reply I just took a huge bite, and chewed it vigorously. “I guess so.” Niall concluded.
The seating plan from me, going clockwise was; me, Louis, Harry, Liam, Josh, Sarah, Niall, Zayn and Cassie.
Sarah was trying to tell me something. She gave me a nervous look and then she looked to her right. I tried to look where she was looking, but I seemed to be looking too far. Eventually she casually turned her head and was pretty much staring at him. “Oh.” I said suddenly. Everyone stopped and looked at me. I blushed. “Umm...well...last night, Sarah wasn’t here, everyone meet Sarah. Sarah, One Direction and their drummer.” I gestured to Josh, the drummer and then they all went around the table introducing themselves to her.
“Louis Tomlinson.”
“Harry Styles.”
“Liam Payne.”
“Josh Devine.”
“Niall Horan.”
“Zayn Malik.”
“I’m Sarah Baumann. Sorry I wasn’t at the concert last night.” She added lightly.
“No problem, but we know you now, and isn’t that what matters?” Liam reassured. Sarah nodded and picked out the last piece of cantaloupe.
“I wanted that.” Cassie whined. Sarah sighed and handed Cassie the cantaloupe. The things she does for us.
“Hey, we should play another game.” Zayn suggested. Suddenly, all eyes were on him. “Truth or dare.”
