Cassie's POV
Who wouldn't want to meet their idol?
It's like a dream come true.
And I know I should have known this, we all should have known this: nothing lasts forever.
Even the best moments.
We all have to move on.
Parallel lines run side by side forever, but they never meet.
Ever.
But cross-roads do meet, but then continue on and never meet again.
That's even sadder.
I just don't want to forget.
Somebody was ever so gently shaking me awake. I really didn't want to wake up, I just wanted time to freeze, because everything was going way too fast and was just running through my hands like water.
"Wake up." Stef hissed, shaking me slightly harder.
"No." I mumbled, turning away from her.
"Yes, we're cooking breakfast this morning, whether you like it or not." Stef stated.
"Why can't Sarah or Wardy cook?" I groaned, opening my eyes finally.
"Because Sarah has just gone out for a run and Wardy's wrapping her present." Stef explained.
"Wait, I still have to wrap mine." I started.
"That does not get you out of cooking, we can just put your in a bag or something." Stef suggested.
"Why can't Wardy just put her's in a bag?" I argued.
Stef sighed. "Why can't you just stop complaining and help me cook already?"
"Fine." I sighed, rolling my eyes.
We decided that everybody will eat fruit, muffins and waffles, no pancakes as that seems to be all we have for breakfast, well... whenever Sarah cooks.
Sarah got back before the boys has woken up, and Wardy was down stairs to help with the breakfast preparation. Sarah went upstairs, showered, dressed and came back looking nice.
I didn't glare at her, more or less just sneered, as I did and didn't want to be making breakfast at this time of the morning.
"Did anybody else notice that Maryanne didn't come home last night?" Sarah piped up, looking around the room, over at the boys too.
We all sort of stopped and did in fact realise that. "Yeah. She wasn't there for the movie, but she did tell us yesterday that she'd be out late." Wardy mentioned.
"When she said that, I kind of expected her to be back by this morning at the latest." Stef said.
I shrugged and continued to make waffles. "She'll be back... I think." I decided.
"We should probably wake the boys up now, and, ah eat." Stef suggested. We all nodded and slowly moved to wake them.
"Hey," Wardy called softly as she nudged Niall and Harry's shoulders. Sarah ruffled Josh's hair and shook his shoulder. Stef lightly shook Louis and I kinda just stood there saying Zayn's name over and over. "Zayn, Zayn, Zayn, Zayn."
"What?" He mumbled, looking up at me.
"Breakfast." I replied. Slowly he sat up and then we made our way to the kitchen.
"Did you make all this or did Sarah?" He joked as we sat down.
"For once, Sarah didn't actually help with any of it." I replied.
