Stef’s POV

I opened my wardrobe door and began sorting through my clothes, right at the back, I pull out my black dress; one side is spaghetti straps and then the other side is sort of loosely draped. It ends about mid-thigh and I have the best shoes to match my necklace, which is a blue.

Cass’s wearing this really cool black dress, with what looks like a beaded neckline and loops right around and looks sort of bohemian but she thinks that it looks oriental. She is wearing a pair of big loop earrings and a chunky bangle. Black heels to top off the outfit and it looks quite lively and bold.

“Thanks for showing me your outfit, but that doesn’t help me choose my outfit.” Sarah exclaimed as she interrupted my train of thought.

“Well, what did you pack in those three suitcases of yours?” I asked curiously.

“What do you think I packed? I’ve got a few skirts, lots of tops, jackets, pants and only a few dresses.” She counted them all off of her fingers.

“Show!” Cass and I said in unison.

She rolled her eyes and lead us out of my room into her’s. She opened all her drawers and took out anything that she thought looked appealing. “There, that’s it.” She concluded, sitting down on the floor next to the pile.

I crossed my arms and leant against the wall. “Where are the dresses?” I asked. Sarah sighed and looked lazily over at the wardrobe. I walked over and opened it. “You’re just making this hard for yourself you know.” I muttered as I pulled out some dresses.

“What’s wrong with these? Why were you so hesitant to show them to us?” Cass asked.

“Because I had no idea when or where to wear them and now that the time comes that I could wear a dress, I just don’t think that any of them look like party type of dresses.” Sarah explained as she began to look through the skirts and tops on the floor.

“Ok, you are not wearing a skirt and top to this house party. First of all, we are in London. It’s a classy place. Secondly, they have probably invited all these famous people so it’s gonna be like even more classy. And thirdly, I think that this dress would look absolutely lovely.” I concluded, separating one of the dresses from the rest.

Sarah looked at it and her face scrunched up with worry. I frowned and she looked from me to Cass. “Are you sure this is even a good idea?” She asked.

Cass and I burst out laughing. “Sarah, It’s a party, nothing can go wrong. Seriously.” Cass explained. “And what happened to the ‘oh-so-ambitious’ Sarah we know and love?”

A smile spread across Sarah’s face. “Aww thank you so much you two. What would I do without you guys?” She asked getting off the floor and pulling us both into a hug.

“The world will never know.” I commented. We all laughed.

Cassie’s POV

Ok so this house party is actually two days after they move...and I suppose we’re moving too, so yeah. And Maryanne’s arrived in London about half an hour ago and is going to be here any minute. And of course the guys didn’t think that those three events were going to be so close together and now there is lots of chaos.

“Is that Liam and Maryanne?” I asked, looking out the window of the living room onto the street below.

“Why would they be walking?” Sarah asked coming over and glancing out the window and then going back to whatever she was doing.

“Good point. Is that them?” I asked eagerly.

“Don’t you have anything better to do? Like pack your stuff seeing as we’re moving in two days.” Sarah asked.

I shrugged my shoulders. “Oh my gosh I know that’s them! Right there!” I pointed out the window as Liam’s car pulled into the apartment car park.

“Are you sure?” Sarah asked, giving me the look from across the room, looking over the top of her book.

I nodded my head like an idiot, I’m sure it looked like it.

“Stef; Maryanne and Liam are here.” Sarah called. Stef came out of her room and looked around the room.

“His car just pulled up, they will be here in a minute.” I tried to explain.

“Well then, we’d better go tell the boys, hadn’t we?” Stef suggested and headed for the door.

Sarah and I both followed her out to the elevator as Stef pressed the button to the next floor. “I wanted to press the button.” I whined. Stef stuck her tongue out at me and I looked over at Sarah, who was leaning against the wall reading her book, not taking any notice of us fighting. “Sarah, did you just see what she did!” I pouted.

She snapped her book shut and opened her mouth to say something right as the elevator doors opened. She didn’t end up saying anything to us and left us standing there while she went straight on in to their apartment.

“I get to push it on the way down, ok?” I bargained.

“Ok.” Stef smiled and followed Sarah out.

“You guys are such children.” Sarah called from the kitchen. “But I knew you’d both be mature enough to figure something out.”

“So you did that on purpose?” Stef huffed.

“Maybe, but still, I think I did the right thing.” Sarah commented.

“What happened?” Louis asked coming over to the kitchen.

“Nothing.” Stef muttered and blushed.

“Well it was a very loud nothing.” He grinned. “So what was it?”

“They were acting like children in the elevator and then Cassie started whinging because Stef pressed the button, yet they were mature enough to compromise.” Sarah summed up.

“Uh, yeah. That’s what happened.” I agreed.

Louis nodded. “So I’m guessing that you came up here because Liam and Maryanne are-”

“We’re here!” Liam called as he opened the door and Maryanne walked in grinning with Liam behind her carrying her bags.

“Hey!” She came over to us and pulled us into this huge hug. “I’ve missed you guys so much. Sorry I haven’t called, I don’t know the time zone things and all that. But I’ll tell you something, I’m extremely tired.”

“Jet lag.” The three of us said in sync.

“Yeah, that.” She grinned at us, then let go of us all and greeted each of the guys. “So what’s happening with the moving thing? Liam semi-explained it on the way over.”

“Well we’re moving in two days so-” Harry began.

“So there is no point in unpacking.” Sarah interjected.

“Yes that, and the day after we move in, we’re having a house party ‘cause we’re cool and it’s like a house warming party, but better.” Harry summarised.

“Is that it?” Maryanne asked, a little surprised.

“Umm, yeah. Sorry, were you expecting more?” Niall asked from the living room.

“No...” She looked at us three and then back to the boys. “But you’re like One frikken Direction. Do you guys even know how to party?”

“There will be alcohol, if that’s what you’re asking,” Louis reassured her. “And where on earth is Zayn?”

We all looked around at each face in the room, realising that Zayn was not in our company. I opened my mouth to say something, then shut it. “What?” Stef and Sarah asked me in sync.

“Nothing.” I shook my head as and grinned, my eyes darted around the room, not fixating on any one object.
