Stef’s POV
9:50am
I’m driving us down this large street, with Sarah in the passenger seat holding the map. “One fifty four, one fifty six, there. Stop.” She told us. I stopped the car and looked at this gorgeous tall cottage looking building. “This is it.” Sarah said, getting out of the car.
“It’s not big enough.” Cassie said, looking puzzled. I shrugged and followed Sarah up to the door. She knocked twice.
When nobody answered, Sarah pushed the door open, to reveal a fair sized living room with adjoining kitchen. “Hello?” I called out.
“Oi, guys, there here.” I heard someone calling.
“Hello?” Somebody else called.
“We’re playing hide and seek. You’re the seekers.” Another voice called.
“That’s not fair!” Sarah yelled. “We don’t know our way around this place, we’re more likely to get lost than to find you.”
Sarah was right. But that didn’t mean we weren’t going to find them. “Sarah, don’t worry. Let’s just look.” I said, turning off into a corridor. “Coming?” I asked them.
“I’ll go this way.” Cassie said and began going the opposite direction to me.
“I guess I’m going this way then.” Sarah shrugged and walked off.
I turned around and begin walking into the unknown. Several doors line the hallway, but I passed each of then, and before I know it, I’m standing at the bottom of the stairs. I look around, but it really doesn’t help me to know where I am. So I go up the stairs anyway.
There I find myself in a loft-like room. It’s a living area and a bedroom. It has a balcony. I walked out to it and see below and behind the house. The cool air, blew my hair around.
“I see you found me.” A husky voice calls and I turn around. Somebody is sitting on the roof.
Cassie’s POV
10:15am
‘Crap! I am so lost. I reckon I’ve been here before. But I don’t even know where ‘here’ is. And I want my back pack.’ I continued to take every right corner, until I have no choice but to go left. Now, I’m confronted with a door. The only door that will continue me along. I opened it and it was a bathroom. Oh great. Now I’m lost in a bathroom. But, it’s a walkthrough bathroom. There was a door leading out the other side. Curiosity got the best of me and I opened it. I was in the library.
A few desks were within the tiny space. I maneuvered myself around the book shelves, to the corner. In the corner, there was an assortment of beanbags. Seeing as I don’t logic, I jumped into it. I was not expecting there to be a person underneath them all!
“Ah shit! I’m sorry. Excuse my french.” I rambled, rolling off the beanbag covered person, onto the floor.
“It’s fine. Really.” Zayn, stood up in front of me, and then reached out, took my hand and lifted me up. “Cassie?” He asked.
‘My gosh his eyes are brown!’ I was having a fangirl moment and he was standing right in front of me. “Yes my name’s Cassie.” I replied softly. Then I snapped back to reality. “Good hiding place by the way.”
“Thanks. People don’t usually find me here, but...” He turned around and looked down at the now messy corner. “But you found me.” He looked back up at me, and I felt like melting.
Sarah’s POV
10:20am
I’m in somebody’s bedroom. But Cassie’s backpack is there, so I picked it up and swung it over my shoulders. Who am I supposed to be looking for? And why am I supposed to be doing it? I dunno. But now I’m kinda lost.
I walked into a wardrobe, and there was no light. But I knew it was a wardrobe because I could feel all the different materials; denim, leather, satin, then something warm met my fingertips. My blood went cold. I walked backwards into the other wall of clothes and suddenly felt trapped. With this person.
“You found me.” A slightly creepy voice sounded and the person moved forward. I was pressed up against clothes and this scary person was cornering me. Shit! Soft hair tickled my cheeks and I saw grayish-green eyes. “I’m Harry.” He wrapped his hand around mine.
“And I’m dead.” I whispered, trying to free my hand as I moved deeper into the jungle of clothes. But he was kinda stronger than me, so he pulled me back and suddenly we were face to face.
“I won’t hurt you, love.” He wrapped his arm around my waist now and began walking out of the wardrobe. “What’s your name? You weren’t there last night were you?”
I cleared my throat, trying to make sense of where I was and what I was doing. “No, I wasn’t. My name’s Sarah.”
“What a pretty name for a pretty face.” He commented. He walked me out of the bedroom now and we were walking down the hallway. I still had no idea where I was.
