Stef’s POV
“Hey. How’d it go with Jordan?” I asked through the phone. I was on my way home now, but decided that news like that couldn’t wait.
“Jordan wasn’t really the problem.” Cassie slowly explained.
“What was?” I asked, confused.
“No. Who was the problem. Sarah. Ok so Jordan may have been a little intimidating towards Sarah and then Sarah had a ridiculous plan, that really didn’t work, so um...I don’t think we’ll be seeing much of Jordan any time soon.” Cassie continued.
“Sarah got into trouble didn’t she?” I asked. I knew Cass was only telling half the truth.
“Ok, so she might have nearly killed Jordan and kissed Niall.”
“Niall?”
“Not like that. She owed him.”
“Why? What’d he do that she had to kiss him for?”
“She promised to kiss him.”
“Again, why?”
“Part of her ridiculous plan. I’ll explain it all when you get home.” Cassie hung up on me. I was used to it. But Sarah kissed Niall? That didn’t make sense at any level.
Oh my gosh! Only one week and we’re all gonna be in England! Yay!
I parked my car and went up the elevator. When I got into the apartment, I saw sitting around being lazy. “What did you do?” I asked, going over to the couch, which was where she was sitting.
“I nearly killed Jordan and then owed Niall.” She explained simply like it was no big deal.
“So I’ve heard. But what’s the long story. Are you two a couple now?” I teased.
“No. Him and Sarah will still be a cute couple, but that’s what worried me. Is that he wanted the kiss.” She started explaining.
“Go back to the beginning so that I know exactly what you’re talking about.” I suggested.
“Ok. So Cass and I were just hanging out waiting for Jordan or Zayn to arrive. They were both coming, so then when somebody knocked on the door we both thought it was Jordan and freaked out. But it was Zayn, and he’d brought Niall along with him. So Niall and I sat down on the couch and then Jordan arrived, and I came up with the extravagant plan, because he thought that Niall and I were also a couple, we could play along and work that to our advantage. So I told Cass about our plan and it was working, until Jordan had to make a snide remark. Then that was when I pinned him to the table and was preparing to strangle him. Cass gave me a warning look and I let go. Jordan left. All’s well that ends well.” Sarah finished explaining.
“When did you actually kiss Niall then? And why did Jordan make a snide remark?” I asked, sitting down. This was a particularly interesting story.
“Jordan said that the ‘lion and the cat’ were making out. I only presumed that was me and Niall, and we hadn’t even kissed. And I kissed Niall afterwards because he asked me to.”
“And you didn’t deny him?”
“I did. But it was Niall Horan.” She claimed.
“And you’re the cat because...” I asked, confused.
“Because I slapped him twice, remember? And he’s still scared of me for it.” She grinned.
“But you kissed Niall.” I said bluntly.
She nodded. I could tell that she was ashamed of it. I knew that it would be a big deal to her for a long time, until she forgot about it, which would be...never. “Lighten up. One week and we’re going to England!” I squealed. I saw her face light up at that. “But where’s Cass?” I asked.
