Stef’s POV
I woke up in the late hours of the morning. “Time to get up?” I asked, yawning. But I seemed to be talking to no one. I showered and got dressed and then went out into the tiny living room, which was even smaller now that Niall, Harry and Liam decided to join us. “Breakfast?” I asked hopefully, but knowing Niall...
“You missed it.” He grinned at me. My face fell. “But...I think that the others might have saved you some.” He looked over at Cassie who nodded. She retrieved a plate of french toast from the pantry and placed it down at the table.
“So, the power’s back on, right?” I asked, looking around at them all.
“Yup. Good and dandy.” Louis smiled.
“You didn’t wake me up.” I whined and pouted.
He came over and sat next to me. “I couldn’t wake you. You looked too peaceful and I didn’t want to ruin it.”
“Aww. Thanks.” I hugged him and then started eating. “So,” I began, mouth full of food. “What are we doing today?”
“Today, we’re going iceskating.” Niall cheered. Everybody’s face lit up at this remark.
We went downstairs and all piled into the three taxis. “Are they ever going to stop?” Sarah complained about the paparazzi, as we sat back in our seats as we took off down the road.
“Nah. We’re too much of a public image to just disappear, but that won’t be for a while yet.” Louis explained, sitting in between Sarah and I in the backseat of the taxi.
When we arrived, we hired some skates and took to the ice.
Cassie’s POV
I wobbled a fair bit of the time. Ok. I wobbled the whole time. I was holding onto the edge for a while then the girls begged me to let go. So I did. Once I could move freely on my own, it was fun.
I was going around the corner of the rink and made a ‘crack’ noise. I turned to see what it was, but saw nothing and as I turned back, I crashed into a ‘quite disorientated’ Zayn Malik. “Oof!” We both said at once. I landed on top of him, laughing my head off.
“Are you two...never mind.” Sarah began, but saw our moment and left us alone.
He leant in and we met somewhere in between. It was kind of weird showing public affection, especially with a famous person. So when I pulled back, several people had stopped to watch what was happening. I looked back down at him, and he smirked at me. “I think I found my one good thing for today.” He whispered. I kissed him again and got off him. He stood up and then, looking around at all the people, sort of pretended they weren’t there. He took my hand and we continued to skate.
Sarah’s POV
Yeah, Cass fell on Zayn, more like falling for him. I knew it was gonna happen and it was kind of my fault for falling right before they crashed, that’s what caused the ‘crack’ noise. Well, I pulled myself up, and just when I saw those two fall, I didn’t think it was those two. I thought it was two random people who fall over each other. So of course I had to go and help them. But then I saw that it was them and backed away.
I rolled my eyes as I skated back to the edge. I seemed to glide along the ice, almost effortlessly. “Well don’t you look like a winter angel.” His fingers interlocked with mine and I looked up at him, blushing.
“If only I could skate.” I commented, still holding onto the edge.
“Here.” Josh gently tugged at my arm.
“No.” I held onto the side of the rink with all my might, but he was way stronger than me so when he pulled me off, I sort of slid straight into his arms.
“That better?” He asked looking down at me. I nodded and we skated along as I tripped several times. He pulled me up each and every one of them.
Stef’s POV
I was a tiny bit more confident than the other two. Of course I was still a little shaky, but I was having so much fun! Louis was behind me the whole time, so when I slipped, he fell straight on top of me. “Oof! You mind?” I laugh as I rolled onto my stomach to look at him; he’s holding himself up on his hands and knees.
“You were the one who fell.” He whined. I rolled my eyes and got to my feet. As I help him up, I look around the rink. Niall’s standing outside the rink, he’s on his phone.
“Who’s Niall talking to?” I asked Louis. He looks over at him and shrugs.
“Your guess is as good as mine.” He replies. I brush it off and we continue around the rink.
