Kali's POV
"Still pretty shocked." Just then, I heard a knock on Levin's door. I went to answer it. "Meow?" I looked at my "little sister." "Did you hear the portal worked!!! Zoey did it!" Meow said, then ran off towards our house. I laughed. "Who is it?" Levin called. I closed the door and walked back over to him. "Meow. She wanted us to know Zoey succeeded in opening the portal." I said. "Really? I had no idea!" Levin laughed.
"So, once Lexi, Malachi, Kyle and Logan get back, you won't have to take on as much?" I asked. "Correct. Remember, we only have a few guards, and with Kyle and Alexis gone, it's just Dante. So I need to help out." Levin said. "Why? Are you worried about me?" "Not like you are thinking, I don't worry about you getting hurt. I do worry that you are overworking yourself though." I said. He hugged me. "Well, Malachi and the others should be back soon." He said. "I know." I said, then rested my head on his shoulder.Lola's POV
I heard a knock on the door, and ran to answer it. I opened the door, and an unfamiliar lady with jet black hair stood before me. "Hello." I said. "Hello, I'm Aphmau, I don't believe we have met." She said. I motioned for her to come inside. "No, wait, that name sounds familiar. Aren't you Levin's Mom?" I questioned her. Aphmau laughed. "Yep, that's me!" "Ah. I'm Lola, and I live here with my two younger sisters, Kali and Meow." "Is Kali the one Levin was with?" Aphmau asked. "Yes, she is his girlfriend." I said. "Cool! How long have you been living here?" She asked. "We've been here for two years now." I said. "We are merchants, of a sort." "Oh. Well, I have more people to see, so maybe I'll see you around!" She waved as she left. Wasn't she with the group that went missing? I thought to myself. There's no way Zoey... Is there?
