~two months later~
Kali's POV
Tears ran down my cheeks. "Kali, I'm sorry. Aphmau and most of her companions went to go find them." Dante said, trying to comfort me. Levin, Malachi, and Zoey had been missing for a week now, and I was worried. It wasn't just me though, everyone was worried for their safely. Dante held me for a minate, then I heard two sets of footsteps. "Oh Kali!" Meow came and hugged me. "Kali, we are worried too, but they will be just fine!" Alexis said. The tears continued. "What if they can't find him? What if he never comes back!" I said. "Don't think like that! Of corse they are going to come back, and when they do, Levin is going to find you crying. Is that what you want?" Alexis demanded. "No-o, but-" Meow cut me off. "Kali, he will be back. Right now, you need to be strong and have hope." She said softly. "I know! I know I know I know! It's not that easy!" I yelled. "No, it's not. But, sometimes, you have to go on. You can't be trapped in a bubble of sadness, that keeps you as a prisoner. You have to escape and take hold of everything around you." Meow said. "It's not that easy!" I yelled again. "Kali, calm down. You are scaring your sister." Alexis said. Meow looked at me, then left our room. Alexis sighed. "Kali, listen to her. She has gone through a lot of pain. Remember?" "So! What if her mother and father died! In case you didn't know, my mother died when I was a baby too! I never knew her! And do you know what's worse than knowing your father died? Knowing your father never loved you! Being his "prisoner." Believe me, Alexis, I know what pain is! I lived it the first sixteen years of my life!" I yelled. Alexis looked shocked. "I'm sorry Kali, I had no idea, you never told me anything about your family." I looked at her. "Because it brought me pain. I wanted to forget. I can't lose my boyfriend too, I just can't." The door opened and I turned my back to Alexis. "Lexis, please go comfort Meow. I will take care of Kali." Lola whispered. I heard the bang of the door, signaling Alexis had left.
