Cadenza studied me. "Princess?"
"I'm the only princess... of Okasis."
"There isn't..."
I interrupted her. "Cadenza, I do trust you. But please don't ask."
"Ok, I'll let that slide. Meow, I need to talk to you."
"What do you need? I'm happy here, please don't take me away." Meow said, almost in tears. Lola hugged her close.
"Meow, please listen to me. Your dad didn't tell you anything about your mom, did he?" Cadenza asked.
"No." Meow simply said.
"Meow, you might be an orphan, but that doesn't mean you have no family."
"My dad was an only child, my grandparents died."
"Meow, you have family." Cadenza said, looking at me. "More than these two."
"Who? How?" Meow asked.
"Meow, your mother wasn't an only child. She had five sisters."
"Five?"
"Your mother was the first born, there were ten years between the the her and the second child."
"Ok..."
"Meow, do you know your mothers name?"
"Yes. Her name was Hope."
