"Yeah," I breathe out, falling into the plush back of the chair. "Yeah I did."
"Are you alright?" Reese now asks, his posture opposing mine; he's leaning forward, his elbows resting on his knees.
"I'm fine, just... apprehensive."
"She loves you. She'll reply."
"And if she doesn't? What do I do then?"
"She will."
