"Hi," I smile, opening the door. Benn stands in front of me wearing a pair of simple jeans, black Vans, a simple shirt, and a jacket. In his hands is a bouquet of flowers.

"Hi. These are for you. And you look absolutely gorgeous," He comments, looking me up and down. I can't help the warmth that spreads to my cheeks as I accept the flowers.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome," He beams, causing a smile to come to my face as well. "Shall we?" He inquires, holding a hand out.

"We shall," I respond, taking his hand in mine.

"After you," He smiles, holding the passenger door open for me.

"Thank you," I say again, hearing him chuckle lightly as he gets in the driver's seat. "So where are we headed?"

"That," he starts dramatically, "Is a surprise." I groan a little, pouting. He laughs lightly at my reaction.

"I take it you don't like surprises?"

"Last time I got a surprise was when I ended up at a half way around the world."

"Well... That's..." He says, struggling to find any words without laughing. The sound of his laugh causes me to crack a grin.

"Yeah, it was pretty bad," I giggle out. Soon enough, we've reached an arcade. Walking in, the dim lighting and old school music makes me feel as if we've stepped right into the eighties. Benn stands nervously next to me.

"If you don't want-"

"Would you stop being so anxious all of the time?" I nudge, making him let out a breathy laugh before he smiles. "I bet I can beat you at ski ball."

"Oh, you're so on," He replies, following me as I step backwards, sending a wink his way before racing him to the machines.

"Whoever loses has to shout," I call out, leaving him confused.

"Has to what?"

"Pay, has to pay," I respond, cursing myself away from my embarrassing slang.

"Well, then I'd better get ready to lose," He smirks.

"Don't you dare let me win," I say, pointing a finger at him accusingly.

"Alright, alright, alright," He laughs, holding his hands up in surrender. The night continues on with quite a lot of laughs, and before I know it we're pulling back up to Hannah's apartment. I laugh a little bit to myself before turning to look at Benn once more. "What's funny?"

"Nothing," I reply, laughing a little more at his curiosity.

"No, something's funny. What is it?" He finally looks up to meet his eyes with mine. I can't help but laugh a little harder.

"It's just..." I giggle. Benn pouts. Any move that he was going to make seems as if he has decided against. "You're so much more awkward than I would have anticipated."

"I'm not awkward!" He defends.

"Alright. Then you didn't just spend a solid two minutes staring at my lips and contemplating if-" I'm cut off by the feeling of Benn's lips against mine in a swift movement. Passion drives it, making it the most electrifying thing that I have ever felt. The moment he draws back, I miss the feeling of his lips against mine.

"That better?" He smirks. I can't help but feel that very same blush crawl onto my cheeks. "Anyone ever tell you that your smile is contagious."

"Ha. Ha. Very funny," I taunt, attempting to get out of the car. Before I can notice, Benn is on my side of the car, opening the door fully for me. "Oh, when did you get there?"

"I ran," He winks causing my cheeks to heat a little more. Walking me the short distance to the door, he laces his fingers with mine, swinging our arms in sync. I laugh a little more. "Does someone like me?" He teases.

"Stop it," I laugh, pushing him teasingly. Upon stepping to my door, Benn's free hand traces my jawline before cupping my cheek. Bending down to my height, his lips find their way to mine once more, and my hand reaches for the back of his neck. The kiss only deepens slightly before he pulls back and my hand drops away.

"Save it for next time," He winks. Blushing, I look to my feet and bite my lip a little bit.

"Does this mean there is going to be a next time?" I inquire shyly.

"I sure as hell hope so," He replies. "Goodnight Kat."

"Goodnight Benn," I smile, opening my door. He doesn't leave the entryway until I'm inside the doorway. I smile at him and, with flowers in hand, make my way upstairs. Hannah and Savannah are waiting for me anxiously, screaming when I show up in the living area.
