The old wood feels familiar in my hands as I rest the acoustic guitar in my lap. "What's wrong darlin'?" Gray questions, sitting beside me as I begin to play the tune to song by Sublime.

"Nothing in particular," I shrug, continuing the tune without thought. "Jenna and I have been getting in some arguments. It's not like our friendship is falling apart, but she's becoming like Tara."

"The annoying bimbo one?" He inquires, looking up to my eyes before falling back to the guitar.

"Yep," I mutter. "I can't help but wonder if she thinks that I'm not good enough to be her friend anymore."

"That's bull," He laughs. "You two have been friends for almost nine years now. She isn't going to stop being your friend now." Nodding, I switch up songs, making Gray laugh. "Honey came in and she caught me red handed creeping with the girl next door. Picture this, we were both butt naked, banging on the bathroom floor!" I hear a laugh escape my own mouth as we continue our own private jam session.
