"How cold does it get here?" I ask Emma, teeth chattering in the middle of December.

"Pretty cold," She replies, laughing and sipping a coffee.

"Did you know that winter here is summer in Australia?" I ask, attempting to forget the bitter cold that now surrounds me.

"Is it really that bad?" She giggles.

"The coldest weather I've ever been in is like twenty degrees!"

"What do you think it is right now?" She asks, laughing.

"It's negative six!" I exclaim, holding up my phone for her to see.

"Oh! You meant celcius," She smirks before continuing to laugh at my chattering teeth.

"This is not funny, Emma!" I shout, irritably.
