"You up for some time on an overlook?" I ask over the phone, driving through the suburban neighborhoods.
"Sounds good," Connor laughs. "Can you pick me up at the house? Will is going to take my car tonight."
"Sure," I shrug, making it to his house rather quickly. Knocking on the door in a pair of athletic shorts and my brother's drug rug, I feel self conscious as an older version of Connor opens the door. "You must be Will."
"And you, Larkin," He smiles, engaging me in a rather fascinating conversation for possibly a dozen minutes before Connor passes by the door.
"You good to go, Kin?" Connor asks, looking between his brother and I.
"That I am," I smile, waving briefly to Will before leading Connor back to the truck.
