I click my thumbs anxiously, trying to distract myself. Closing my eyes, I take a deep breath in hopes of clearing my scattered thoughts, maybe even in the slightest, but it is to no avail.

I sit at my desk, the only light in my room being the florescent desk lamp, and the only noise coming from a James Taylor record. "Whoa, Mexico," I hum. "Sounds so simple, I've just got to go. The sun's so hot, I forgot to go home. I guess I have to go now." My hand twitches frequently as I try to work on a drawing for a new tattoo. But my hand isn't steady. I can't focus. "I can't do this."

"Yes," Hannah states behind me. "Yes, you can."
