"Connor! What the hell are you doing here?" I hiss, pushing him into the darkness of the backroom. A careless smirk traces his lips as he places a hand on my waist tauntingly.
"What? Can't I miss you?" He inquires, stepping closer than anticipated.
"Yes. You can. But, I'm at work at the moment, incase you were curious as to why I was here. Also, I'm pretty sure that this isn't very conspicuous."
"True, but what's life without a little risk? Without it, there's absolutely no thrill in action. Especially when there's the possibility of getting caught."
"Larkin!" Skye calls, beginning to walk towards the back room. My heartrate quickens.
"I'll pick you up at eight, Kin," He whispers, swopping in for a single peck before disintegrating into the darkness.
