"Are you girls ready to go to your first concert?" My dad asks me, already knowing the answer due to the bright smile on both Jenna and my faces.
"Let's gooooooooooo!" I rush, trying to push him through our hallway and out the front door. My father's laugh sounds loud as he lets me push into him with all of my weight.
"Well someone is excited," I hear my mother laugh.
"Mummy! Mummy! Daddy is taking Jenna and me to a concert!" I say, only stopping the push on my father's back to look at my mummy and jump up and down excitedly. A bright shine glows brighter in my eyes, showing brighter and clearer than it would a decade later.
