"Larkin!" Jenna exclaims, looking over my drugged expression. Her voice is breathless; she's panting. "Larkin! Please! Just talk to me!" She begs, stopping directly in front of me and halting my movements.

"What do you want, Jenna?" I ask, spite filling my tone. "What can I do for you, fucking princess?"

"Please, let me be here for you. I... I can't imagine what you're going through but-"

"Stay off it, Jenna. It's not like you give a damn anyways." She looks taken aback at my down right rudeness.

"What... What happened to you?"

"Me? Oh, I became a depressed, washed up druggie who seeks attention for the pain in my life, because you know, I'm just over reacting about everything that goes on."

"Oh, c'mon. Larkin, please. It was all in the heat of the moment. You know I didn't mean those things!" She exclaims, desperately clinging for some piece left of me. "Where are you, best friend?" She inquires with the faintest smile in an attempt to get back the glowing smile I used to have that reached my eyes. "Where's the girl who I went to my first concert with? Who I gave a record to when we were eight?"

"You wanna help me out?"

"Yes, I-"

"Then fuck off."
