"Aw man, I wonder if Misa Misa is alright? Maybe we should have wired her or used something to track her movements." Walking up to light I pull his chair back from his computer and set in his lap wrapping my arms around his shoulders. He seemed shocked at my sudden closeness but soon it faded as I seen his eyes soften and felt his arms wrap around me. Leaning my head against his chest I give a contented sigh. How long has it been since that night on the couch? It couldn't have been more then a few days but.. Since I don't get to go outside the days seem to run together anymore.

Raising my head I brush my lips against his chin showing him how dearly I wanted to kiss him. I feel his grip tighten around me in response making me smile as I laid my head against his chest again. Closing my eyes I take in his scent, his warmth, his touch, the very feeling of him surrounding me like this. Almost as if I was desperately trying to memorize every attribute about him. Hopefully I will spend many more years with every day holding moments like this. Ah Light. How I love you.

"Well you two seem close today. Did something happen?" Ryuzaki asks. I just try to ignore him but I nearly giggle as Light's voice rumbles through his chest.

"Not at all."

"Well it seems you two made up, it's about time. The distance between you two was becoming quite distracting."

"Thank you for your concern Ryuzaki but our relationship has nothing to do with the investigation or the case so you might as well not pay any attention to it at all."

*Light*

After having said that I rest my chin against the top of her head closing my eyes. She was so small, seems to be so fragile. Yet, she is scary at the same time with how thorough she always is. But, I accept all of what and who she is. "Kiara" Ryuzaki says looking back to his computer.

"Yes?" she questions raising her head so she can look to him her soft hair brushing lightly against my chin as she does.

"About our deal. I have thought about it. If you promise not to with hold your input like that again then I see no problem with you leaving Headquarters on occasion." her giggle echoes through the room at this idea.

"Deal!" she says happily.

"Oh my god Kiara that's great!" Matsuda says enthusiastically causing my hold on her to tighten looking to him as if claiming her for myself.

"Light? Would you like to go out then? We have time until Misa gets back."

"I don't see why not, where would you like to go?" I ask her smiling as she slides off of my lap taking my hand in hers and tugging as a way to tell me to get up as well, so I do.

"I don't care, I just want to walk around outside!"

Chuckling I pull my hand from hers and slink my arm around her waist. "Anything you want." As we walk forward she pauses then looks over her shoulder at Ryuzaki.

"By the way since I said deal. From the first video of the conference you should take a closer look at Higuchi to me he was all but saying "I am kira." without another word she walks out with me and for the first time she had left her bag up in her room.

"Watari, you can take the time now since her and Light left to do as we had talked about."

"Right away, Ryuzaki." he responds briefly.

Closer look at Higuchi? I brush my bottom lip with my thumb as I bring up the conference video again. Having it play through again as this time I watch Higuchi. How could she have come up with Higuchi? From the way it went I had thought it may actually have been Namikawa or Ooi. But then light had set Namikawa as a potential mole for us. Maybe watching more closely I will see something I didn't catch before. "So did we really pay five million dollars for this report?" Higuchi says. "I mean come on look at this! He hasn't found out anything important about L like his name or his face! Is this coil guy seriously going to be really of any use to us?" he throws the papers down onto the meeting table his voice holding irritation and aggravation. At first I had thought it was because he was afraid of being caught working with kira but now..
