Chapter 1
Today was totally just another day. After waking up I lay in my bath water with my eyes closed. "How I love baths!" I exclaimed to myself with an over exaggerated sigh. Looking up to the pearl colored ceiling I chew on my bottom lip as was a little tick of mine when I fall into thought. I am 17 years old the last I checked and I know my birthday is coming up soon or.. Is it? Self reminder check the date on my laptop when I get out. As I wash my hair I look at my legs refracted in the water. "Anime, the only thing that allows me to escape this prison my parents call home" After rinsing the suds out of my long black hair I get out of the large claw foot tub and wrap a towel around myself.
"Really, if it wasn't for anime I don't know what I would do" I said to myself drying off and putting on my red Bikini with tight really short jean shorts and my cream colored long button up over shirt. It was light enough I could see my Bikini beneath it if I even wanted to button it up and it went down to my mid thighs. I enjoy light weight clothes they make me feel more free rather then restrained. Dad always says I get that from my mom who rarely wears shirts that cover her shoulders or her stomach. Walking from the bathroom and into my bedroom I pick up my black and white back pack with a smile. It was old and looked like it was being held together with a prayer. It had moon and stars scribbled on the white fabric with my mom's old nickname painted on the front.
When we had gone through her old things from before she awakened and she still lived as a human this was the very thing she treasured most. She told me that she had got it when she was in fourth grade and kept it through her twenties. I just felt drawn to it, I guess the reason could be because it was so important to my mom that it made me feel closer to her. And I keep all my "Essentials" in it so I never just leave it laying around. Setting in Indian style on my bed I open the bag and look inside it. Finding my Five star note book that contains 500 pages of paper with the words Death Note scribbled on the front along with the very symbols the instructions had said to put. My pink and black pencil bag crammed full of pens, pencils, markers, and color pencils. A little black pouch full of kunai, throwing stars, lock picks, and gloves. My spare container of make up, perfumes, and nail polish.
Of course it also has my red fuzz covered lockable diary that I keep in a metal chrome and black lockable case. It used to be a cd case before I had went through and removed all of the sleeves so it was now the perfect case for my diary. And I also have my mom and dad's first B.O.S's. that were located in old five star binders that zipped closed which were wedged around my cases of my Ipod, Ihome, Ipad, headphones, my cell phone, and my tie die pocket book containing the plastics mom and dad gave me for shopping online. Smiling I reach in and unzip the hidden compartment and pull out my hair brush that I keep next to a bag of scrunchies.
Running it through my hair before putting it back and zipping up my bag. I slip the shoulder straps over my shoulders where it always rests. I go over to my desk powering on my laptop I perch myself on the arms of my computer chair as I fold my legs in Indian style in the seat. Pulling myself closer to my desk and bringing up my chrome browser I look through my book marks. On top were sites of spells, enchantments, creating death notes, how to guides to meditate and exercising energy, the meanings of candles and their colors, online shops for Wicca accessories: books: and ingredients. Then down the list starts off with Full moon Wo Sagashite, Skip beat, Inuyasha, Witch hunter robin, Naruto, Bleach, Fate Stay Night, Vampire Knight, then of course Death Note. All of my favorite web pages and anime. Clicking on Death Note I begin to watch the anime starting all over again from the beginning planning to only watch a couple episodes before going out to the back yard and taking a swim in the pool.
