The day went by quickly. Katherine enjoyed helping her friend planning and they surprisingly got almost everything done over a couple cups of coffee. At least, writing down everything that needed to be done. Gina said that her and Lee would make all the phone calls and arrangements.

Before they had to leave, both of them wanted to get a quick something to eat. Katherine offered to get in line while Gina had to make a phone call to a family member. She immediately got up and got in line. It was going to be a while but she didn't mind. It gave her some time to think.

Katherine stood with her back facing the door. The door opened and she didn't bother seeing who stood behind her. She began gathering her hair up into a ponytail before realizing she didn't have something to tie it back. Katherine tried reaching into her pockets then the purse while having one hand hold all of her hair.

"Do you need a hair tie?" A familiar voice asked chuckling. She looked back while holding her hair into the ponytail form. Chris held up a black hair tie and was smirking. She took it and finished tying her hair. Katherine turned around to face him but he was looking around.

"Thank you. Have you come here to see if I told Gina about us?" She mumbled. Katherine knew he could hear her loud and clear. "No. I came here to tell her myself." Chris darkly chuckled. Katherine's eyes widened. He poked her in the back to move her forward since the line moved.

Chris tried not to laugh. "Relax. I'm just out enjoying myself after being asleep for weeks and to give you this." He handed her a neatly folded piece of paper. She read it. He wrote an address and to meet there ten minutes before midnight. "Chris, where's th-" she looked up and saw that he was gone. For once, she was annoyed that he could teleport to somewhere else.

She exhaled sharply then turned around to order. Once she ordered, Katherine sat back down. Gina had a disapproving look on her face. Katherine knew right away what her friend was going to say. "What did he give you?" Gina asked. Katherine hated having to lie and to think of something quick.

"We talked and he seemed nice so he asked me out on a date." Katherine tried to smile. Gina bit her lip. "Are you?" Katherine waited a few seconds to seem like she was thinking. "Why not? Maybe I can ask him to be my wedding date." Katherine shrugged.

Gina really looked unhappy. "Well, as long as he covers those disgusting tattoos and doesn't wear that heavy black makeup then I won't have a problem." She finally said. Katherine felt a small relief. One of the workers brought their food so they ate in silence for a minute.

"Did he say what his name was?" Gina asked curious. Katherine swallowed what she was eating nervously. "It's Chris." Gina raised her eyebrow. "Not that Chris you said over the phone?" Katherine mentally slapped herself. "It is a common name and I like it." She said in defense taking another bite.

Gina nodded and hummed before going back to eating. Katherine did the same thing. The two ate in silence again but Katherine couldn't help but wonder where that address led to. When she could check her phone, it was an abandoned restaurant that went out of business a few months ago.

She read information that it was recently bought by the Vamps company to turn into a venue in the near future. Katherine remembered Chris had an eye for a place a year ago and had to wait for the business to close before offering a business deal. She was definitely curious to know why he wanted her there.

*************

Gina finally saw Chris! Is this a good or a bad thing?

Why do you think he gave Katherine the piece to visit a certain building?

Do you think Chris will be Katherine's wedding date?
