It's been a few hours later and the two haven't spoken a word to each other. Mostly because they were tired, hungry, and the guy who was watching them was in the room. The guy was clearly bored and falling asleep because of it.
Katherine's stomach growled loudly. She laid on her side and groaned uncomfortably. She still felt sick from the night before. She looked over and saw her friend having her hands intertwined and mouthing words. Katherine looked back to the ground and felt regret.
She quietly began crying. "Gina?" Katherine hiccuped while sitting up. Gina stopped praying to look her friend. "I'm so sorry. This is all my fault." Gina looked sympathetic. "It's not." She said honestly. "Yes it is. If I would have just let him explain then I wouldn't have forced you to go the bar and end up here." Katherine brought her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around her legs.
Gina looked down at the ground. "Do you really think we'll get out here?" Both girls gave a startled scream when the guy fell off his chair and snored loudly. They both slowly stood up then glanced at each other. The door opened then shut quickly.
Gina quickly stood next to her friend. "Let's attack him." She whispered in her ear. Katherine looked at her friend. "You're crazy! He has a gun, remember?" She whispered back. "I have no weapons whatsoever." A familiar voice said.
A tall man in a suit and creepers with long straight black hair, black makeup, and three lip piercings walked into the light. He was holding a white cloth in both of his hands. "Chris." Katherine felt so happy to see him. He gave her a small smile and his eyes glowed a brighter shade of red.
He took a few steps forward and set the cloth down. "You two must be hungry." Gina and Katherine both unwrapped the cloth together and began eating quickly. Chris slicked his hair back. "Sorry Katherine, I might have burned down half the kitchen again." He shortly laughed.
Katherine smiled then swallowed whatever food she had in her mouth. She quickly ran up to him and hugged him. "Thank you." She said. "You're getting us out of here right?" Gina stood up and wiped her moth with the back of her hand. Katherine stepped back.
"I wish I could right now." He said sorrowfully. "You can't until the deal is finished." Katherine said. He nodded yes. "It's almost time. I wanted to be sure you girls were alright." Chris looked at one then the other.
"A lot better now that we had something to eat." Katherine said. He placed his hand on the side of her face and lightly kissed the top of her forehead. "Can I ask you to do something for me?" He asked. "Sure." The girls said in unison.
"Close your eyes when I tell you to." Chris said seriously. "Why?" Gina asked suspiciously. "Unless you want to see me rip a man limb from limb." He said his eyes glowing darker. "I take it you're not going to take his soul?" Katherine asked trying to think about that. "Fuck no. Not after all those times of trying to kill people and now kidnapping my wife and her friend." His voice sounded distorted from getting angrier.
Gina sighed. "It's really true." Katherine and Chris looked at her. He looked at his watch then at Katherine. "I don't know what's going to happen but I have to tell you this might be the last time we see each other." Katherine stared at him. He explained everything he told her mother.
"Take me with?" Katherine said hopeful. "No, you're better staying. Trust me." Chris hugged her tightly. "I have to leave. They're going to be here in a few minutes." Ignoring that Gina was there, he kissed Katherine. "I love you." Katherine had a few tears flow down her face. "I love you too no matter what."
He gave her a small smile then walking out the door. The second the door slammed shut, the guy woke back up. "I must have dosed off." He felt embarrassed. Gina and Katherine looked at each other and giggled.

A quick question too:
Would anyone still read my stories if it wasn't a miw fan fiction? The story I've been writing has a connection to the Demon's Curse and two of the characters are briefly in it! 😱 can you guess who?
