It's been hours and the girls were starving. Katherine had finally sobered up enough to be fully aware of what happened last night. The door finally opened and they became excited that they might be getting something to eat. They were disappointed and became more frightened when they saw four people walk in.

Katherine recognized them straight away. "You're the boys from the supermarket months ago." She said standing up. "Yeah, and your boyfriend isn't here this time." The  guy a few inches shorter than Chris gave a threatening smile. "Husband now." Katherine corrected mocking the same smile.

"Enough chitchat. This boy is going to keep you company." The man still had his gun pointing at the girls. "You two, you're going to help me with something." He gestured the two behind the tall one. They nodded and walked out the door.

"C-can we have something to eat? We're hungry." Gina asked fearfully. The man just laughed cruelly. "Just watch them. I want to be sure they don't escape." The man said. "Sure thing boss. First I want to grab some things." The man with the gun sighed. The two left whispering something.

Gina finally turned to her friend. "Are you feeling ok?" She asked. Katherine nodded yes. "That Chris isn't your husband! You never married him and I don't know where you're getting the idea of deals from but it's making me worried about you." Gina raised her voice. Katherine sighed. "Remember the book I wrote?" Gina looked at her suspiciously.

"What does that have to do with this?" Gina asked. "Everything. The demon making a deal with the father, the kidnapping of the mother, the murders, falling in love." Katherine said. "It's all true. The reason those files you read didn't make any sense is because Chris is a demon."

"I don't understand." Gina said scratching her head. "Dad made a deal before he passed away with Chris to watch over me. Over time, Chris fell in love with me and then I did too." Gina thought for a minute. "That's not love! He kidnapped your own mother! He killed those three people and more!"

Katherine sighed. "He's over three hundred years old. You read the part where the kidnapping was because of the curse he had?" Gina slicked her hair back frustrated.  She turned her back to face away from her friend. "So you're telling me that everything in the book is exactly what happened to you?" Gina asked rubbing her temples.

"Down to the very last detail." Katherine said then letting out a exhale of relief. "It feels so good to finally tell you." She said honestly. Gina nodded her head in disappointment. "When did you two get married?" She asked turning back around. "Remember when we were teenagers always talking about having a double wedding?" Katherine sat down cross legged.

"You married on my wedding day?" Gina nearly yelled. "It was a spontaneous idea." Katherine explained. Gina paced and was quiet for a long time. "I'm sorry to say this but you have the worse case of Stockholm Syndrome!" Katherine stood up upset.

"I don't! I just love and trust him!" Katherine stomped her foot. "He's kidnapped your mother! This is like the real life version of Beauty and the Beast!" Gina yelled back. "At least Chris has saved our lives more than once!" Katherine snapped back.

Gina screamed frustrated. Katherine continued. "At the coffee cafe when you two first met." Katherine pointed at the door. "That man was going to commit a massacre! Then on your own wedding day, he tried again but Chris stopped him." Gina had a quick flash of the memory but has been putting aside as just her imagination. "That's why I felt like I was forgetting something?" She asked.

Katherine nodded yes. "Now he's somehow some way going to save us again tonight." Katherine sat back down. She felt exhausted. "What if he can't this time?" Gina sat down next to her. "He has to. I know he'll do whatever it takes." Katherine said determined to have so much faith in her husband.
