Her friend walked down the aisle slowly and the piano played loudly. The boutique of roses were slightly shaking from Gina's nerves. Everyone was in awe at how beautiful she looked. Katherine was literally praying for nothing to happen. Chris forced himself to watch Gina walking down but with his supernatural hearing, listened for that door to open.
She finally reached the alter and took her soon to be husband's arm and they stood side by side. The music finished playing before the priest opened up a book and flipped a few pages. Gina's father first thanked everyone for joining before looking down at the book to read from it. He read a small passage out loud before handing Lee a ring.
The priest asked the typical question about being there through sickness and in health. Lee proudly said "I do." Gina had a few tears of happiness running down her face. Lee placed the ring onto her left ring finger. Her father asked his daughter the same question and Gina nodded before saying "I do." She placed the ring on his left finger. They two held their hands together with the happiest smiles while looking at each other. Katherine let out a quiet sigh and tried to relax.
"Any objections as to why this happy couple shouldn't be married today?" The priest said loudly. Gina and Lee looked around nervously. A few seconds later, the priest smiled. "Well then, by the state of Pennsylvania, I now pron-" he was interrupted by the man lighting the candles earlier marching up to the alter. He had a twisted murderous look on his face it scared the people who who close enough to see.
"Fuck." Chris said under his breath. Katherine held her breath. The priest, Lee, Gina, and everyone else looked confused at the man. "My dear boy, is there a problem?" Her father asked tenderly. The man reached into his pocket and pulled out a handgun. Half of the room gasped and one woman screamed. "Yeah, I object." He said sounding drunk.
