The entire room was silent. The man laughed drunkenly. "I have to admit that was the best bottle of wine I've ever drank." He waved the gun around carelessly and hiccuped. Lee stood in front of Gina as a shield of protection. "Now I have a deal that I'd like to fulfill." He walked up and down the aisle.
"That is if he can even get inside a church which I doubt." The man laughed. "If you ask me, he's a fucking coward!" He yelled madly. "What are you talking about about?" Gina asked crying. Her father looked horrified that she spoke. He raised the gun at her. Katherine gasped as did others.
"I made a deal with the devil." He pulled the lever of the back of the gun. "He thinks I can't kill someone because I couldn't the first time." He pointed at a few people as if deciding who to choose. "Well I'm about to show him." He landed his weapon on a terrified little boy. The mother tried to cover him as much as she could.
"Back the fuck off or I shoot both of you! I'm sure he'll be happier!" The mother tightened her grip around her son. "You're insane!" Someone shouted. "Let's see about that, shall we?" He raised his gun a little higher. The little boy began wailing.
Chris stood up and everyone looked at him. He had all of his tattoos showing and his eyes were a dark shade of red. "Put the gun down." His voice sounded distorted. The man's jaw dropped at the sight of seeing him. Mostly everyone sat there paralyzed with fear. "I said, put the gun down." He said through gritted teeth.
"You're actually in a ch-church?" The man stuttered. Chris began walking towards him looking the most angriest he's ever been. "You are not hurting an innocent child. That's against the rules of a deal!" He said distortedly. "You said I can kill anyone in half of the about of time. Why don't we make it sooner?" The man asked waving the gun at the little boy. The mother and son were silently crying.
Chris's eyes glowed like the colors of fire. A few people tried to cower away from them. "You're not taking any innocent lives here. You so badly just want to kill me, don't you?" Chris gave him a twisted smile. The man nodded eagerly. "Then do it! Fucking shoot me where my heart is." Chris yelled hitting his chest once. Katherine gasps and stood up so quickly it surprised the man. "Chris, what ar-" she began.
Without thinking, he moved his arm and pulled the trigger. Everyone screamed in fear including her. Katherine shut her eyes tightly but she didn't feel anything. She opened up her eyes to see black fabric in front of her. Chris took a few steps forward before reaching into the bloody wound with his two fingers and pulled out the bullet. The man missed his heart by a few inches. The man let out a shaky breath as the small bullet fell to the ground.
"The next time you fire that gun, it won't be fun." Chris walked back up to him. "A gun in one hand, a bullet in another and never a place in the promised land." Katherine sat back down and looked at her friend. She was shaking uncontrollably as Lee was holding her. Katherine knew Chris just casted a spell just like what happened with Eric. No doubt the man was going to shoot again but this time it would backfire.
"We had a deal. You take my soul to the promised land. I have decided that I'd like to go there sooner." He pulled the lever again. A few people began whimpering or crying. Chris just crossed his arms and smiled wickedly. "I fucking dare you." He laughed menacingly.
The man pulled the trigger at the demon before screaming in pain. He raised his other hand and was profusely bleeding and mangled beyond a recognizable hand. People screamed from the noise and the sight. Some tried to cover children's eyes or their own. "Wha-" He tried speaking before Chris appeared in front of him in a blink of an eye then grabbed him by the throat and dragged him outside.
