Katherine drove to her friend's house. It was honestly the last place she wanted to go to but she had the feeling she was going to need someplace to stay overnight. At least it would've better than a hotel. She knocked as loud as she could until Katherine heard the door unlocking. Gina was surprised at who was at the door.

"Mom's out with her friends and I don't feel like being alone." Katherine lied walking in after being welcomed. Gina understood and led her into the living room. "Would you like anything?" She asked while turning off her television. "No. Just a quiet place to think." Katherine answered. Gina put her hands on her hips before sighing.

"Well, why don't you tell me what's on your mind?" Gina sat down on the couch across from her friend. Katherine let out a long exhale and slumped into the couch. She was already regretting yelling at Chris when all he was doing was trying to be protective. "It's something I don't want to talk about." Katherine looked down at the clean hardwood floors. She started thinking of a way to make it up to Chris when she was interrupted. "Is it about that guy?" Gina asked curiously.

Katherine looked up at her. She also thought about something on the way to her friend's home. She knew it would be a huge risk but Katherine decided to go through with it anyway. "You're a genealogist. Can I ask you to look into Chris Motionless's family history?" Katherine asked feeling extremely nervous. Gina raised her eyebrow. "Sure but why do you want to know?" Katherine really hated herself for lying like this and going behind her fiancé's back. It had to be done unfortunately. She had to somehow tell her friend who Chris really is.

"Do you think it's a coincidence that the guy I met is named Chris and my boss's name is also the same?" Katherine asked hoping her plan would work. Gina nodded in thought. "I see your point. You think he's your boss?" Katherine pretended to think about it before shrugging. "I'll look into it but you know it'll take time and some convincing." Gina sat back. Kathrine understood because of the rules of her friend's job.

"Whatever it takes." Katherine sighed and rubbed her face tiredly. "Still have a lot on your mind?" Gina asked after a few moments of silence. "That helped for now at least." Katherine looked around noticing the two were all alone. "Lee has training tonight. What say we watch some movies and eat popcorn?" Her friend smiled encouragingly . "Sounds like a good idea!" Katherine returned the smile.

The two talked about random things that's happened while the popcorn was cooking and waiting for the movie to start. They watch about three movies before falling asleep in the middle of their fourth one. They never heard the person who broke into Gina's home. He patiently waited for one girl to wake up as he stayed in the kitchen. The man didn't care if it took all night.
