Katherine now looked at him suspiciously. "What's your crazy idea?" Katherine asked hesitantly. Chris leaned forward to whisper in her ear. "Let's get married tonight." Katherine's jaw dropped but she shut her mouth and smiled. For the first time, Chris looked nervous waiting for her answer.

"I don't think I want to wait a month. My crazy idea is how about right now?" Chris seemed surprised by that response. "Get your mother and meet out on the balcony in ten minutes?" Chris laughed happily. Katherine stood up quickly. "Boy, won't she be happy?" She walked off searching for her mother. Chris was already gone in a matter of seconds. He had to make a quick contact to someone first.

It took her a couple minutes to find her. She was talking to one of her friends. Katherine cleared her throat. Her mother looked at her. "Hi Katherine! You two leaving soon?" A friend of her mother asked. "No, I'd like to speak to my mom in private." She tried to keep herself from getting too excited. Her mother excused herself before her friend walked away. Katherine made a gesture to follow.

Katherine and her mother walked out of the room and down the hallway. Once she told her mother both of their crazy ideas, her mother almost bear-hugged her. "This is an amazing idea! I remember when you and Gina were little and use to talk about having a double wedding." Her mother smiled.

Katherine had nearly forgotten about that. She thought about the memories of the two friends as teenagers talking about marrying their loved ones on the same day. "Looks like that's actually going to happen." Katherine chuckled. "I just wish she could see us." She added sounding not so happy.

"Then let's go get her! I'm sure Chris can use that forgetful spell." Her mother said and took a step toward the door leading back to the room. "No, don't." Katherine said. Her mother looked at her surprised. "I just want you there. It'll be too confusing to explain to her how that book she's read is true especially right now." Her mother hummed in thought.

"Not to mention, her father's a priest so I'm sure he knows something up his sleeve about demons." Katherine added again. Her mother sighed.  "Ok, so how's this going to work?" She asked. "We should be going up to the balcony right now." Katherine took a few steps and her mother followed. They were completely silent as the two made there way down one hallway after another.

They walked down a hallway and found the staircase leading up the the top floor. They quickly walked up the stairs and Katherine was getting more excited. "You sure you want to do this tonight?" Her mother asked reassuringly. "We've been together for five years. Now is a good time as any." Katherine gave her a smile. The mother smiled.

They walked down another hallway and outside into the balcony. Chris was already there leaning against the railing looking up at the full moon. His tattoos were showing and he put in his three lip piercings back in. Katherine walked up to him and wrapped her arms around him. Chris kissed her forehead lovingly.

"So how's this going to work?" Katherine asked him. Chris inhaled deeply. After a minute, he finally spoke differently. "I have some bad news again." He said running his fingers through his hair frustrated. The two girls noticed his voice sounded distorted and a cell phone was sitting on the railing before he put it in his pocket.
